How much do you guys feel shaco jungle has been affected by the s3 changes? Are any of the new items good on him, because I find that the old build of wriggles/bruta/triforce works out fine.

Edit: Something strange just happened, I had picked and the game was about to start when the loading screen went black, error sound appears (no message though) and then crashes, I started up lol again and retried, same thing. Then it glitched out and whenever I tried press the reconnect button it just minimised the window. After a lot of attempts I logged out and then when I relogged it said that where was no active game and let me requeue.

So, what is the verdict with Zephyr on Irelier? I'm about to pick here up and there was a lot of initial hype over it.

I think the verdict on Zephyr in general is that it's really expensive for no actual tanky stats (Just an anti-CC stat which you could get a lot earlier with mercs if you really really need it). I think it's in a bit of a Nashor's Tooth spot.

The problem is the Long Sword component. If it was something defensive like a Cloth Armour/Ruby Crystal/Null-Magic Mantle it would be great.

Is anyone else expiriencing weird game lag/fps drop since newest patch?

Also why did god damn shaco have to make a comeback.....And the shaco law is still in effect of course as a bonus.1 more permaban is fun.

The difference is that all of its stats it gives are 2ndry stats, therefore there's no real "oomf" to the item. It's probably actually one of the most cost efficient items in the game, but it's gunna be a while before people find a place for it on their champ builds.

I was thinking it kinda might make sense on Jax because you want the slow and stuff and you attack kinda fast and it seems cool since you probably want only 1 damage item anyway (then you probably want GA I think). Also might be cool on jungle Jax, but he's not a toplaner :D

AP Mids lose to a lot of bruisers that you don't normally see mid, and Maokai is sort of an AP carry hybrid bruiser (he has decent AP scaling and a ranged AP poke (.4 / .8 / .4 + .6=1.0 / .5 ratios with fairly low CDs)) so yeah he does reasonably well mid. I think he does extra well against ones that spam spells like Karthus because of his passive, but I'm not actually sure of that..

He's always been a godly mid since like Season 1. Just his jungle counterpart became so damn good due to his high utility and great non-gold level scaling. The biggest issue with Maokai mid is he doesn't scale that well damage wise in lategame, but usually with Maokai you should be able to shove a shit ton of objectives in midgame.

No it isn't.

Your jungle clearing is middling to bad. You can kill wolves/wraiths pretty well, but take ages on golems or buffs.

His W is easy, but even easier to pull you into a tower or behind the enemy team by a flash and/or blink. In any scenario where you can't use W without being pulled to certain death (i.e. most laning situations), you lose all ganking ability. This also goes for lategame sieges if you aren't way ahead.

His damage is extremely low and you will generally not be able to hit both parts of E. Lategame his damage is nonexistant.

That puts him at a place where he's a slow/medium clearer, a ganker whose kit is so risky that it will get him killed more often than it gets a kill, and someone who is largely ignorable late because of minimal cc and minimal damage. You've got your ult and that's about it. His ult doesn't work on towers, either.

This makes him effective against laners who are ridiculously pushed in a lane where your teammate has high damage, but pretty worthless in all other situations.

All of the problems you mentioned were present even before S3 Craton :p. I keep telling you guys, Mao is bad and he was the last 4 months or so. One really really good thing about him is his sapling, the vision it gives is something completely unique to Maokai, unfortunately it's not enough to offset his weak stats from slow exp gain and comparatively low amount of CC (Rammus, Nautilus, Amumu).

Yes, Maokai has been bad for several months.

I don't know why you think Amumu is anything but very strong, though. He has strong clear times and natural damage reduction for the jungle and the buff to E mana cost awhile back made it really easy to spam W+E for clearing.

Nautilus can work, but only if you have a very very high damage team (basically no bruiser laners).

Rammus works in more comps than Nautilus does, but I still hate picking him early. His powerball + taunt is devastating lategame.
