Crucible is pretty good and can be reasonably built on a mana-hungry support who can use Chalice. A lot of support items now give AP, and Kage's Lucky Pick is a far better item on supports now than before. I think this played right into Janna's hands, who has the best AP ratios on supports by a large margin. It's so much harder to play support now though. Too many active items  | ||

That game was entirely of the latter, I only suffered it to the end because I wanted to see if he'd manage to throw (He did. Always trying to face-W Zyra doesn't work well when all she has to do is wait for it, EWWQ, ult on top of his team that tried to follow his dive and then team clean-up, Zyra mostly healthy). Of course he blamed Hecarim who wanted to try a homeguard/ghost/shurelya/E/Lulu's W rush (he reached the middle of the map long before homeguard faded) instead of fighting at the last inhib tower (enemy inhibs still down by the time Hec and Lulu came, and yet another face dive by WoDx to bait his team in AoE cc). | ||

He has so many viewers because he explains everything and a lot of people like that style of steamer (it's why I like TOO and Scarra but can't stand Dyrus). He generally gives out a lot of useful information. Not being able to see why someone is popular just because you don't like him is silly. Also hotshot isn't better imo. I honestly wish he wasn't so popular because the "WoD is actually bad" circle jerk that has been popping up here from time to time is getting old, shits annoying zz. Edit: I'm not saying he isn't a douche on stream sometimes, but it's not as if he acts that way 100% of the time so questioning his popularity just seems like an excuse to rag on him. | ||

Jokes aside you're right, most people just say he's annoying and complains about being camped (which he does). But people keep bringing it up and restating it and it just starting to feel really circle-jerky. | ||

edit: Seriously though, the average League player is really bad. It's no surprise that someone who gives advice such as "build armor because they do physical dmg" will get a lot of viewers. The pro players such as Chauster won't get a lot of viewers because their skill is hard to follow for the average stream viewer. Nothing they can do about that. | ||

Why then, does Froggen get 20K viewers too? He's better than Chauster, yet doesn't speak much about what he does. There's some truth in your statement, but it isn't the end-all. I enjoy informative players, but really, TOO gives 10 times the advice that wings gives. The reason why I don't understand the viewership wings gets has nothing to do with whether I like him or not. It's his attitude on his stream, and the fact that (as I said before) even hotshot is better. There's a real lack of talented toplaners in NA, true, but Wings just isn't up there by my definition, I'd rather watch rekkles play on 1080p that looks like 240p on my phone, than watch wings throw games left right and center. (Add to that his attiude, and just ugh) | ||
