It seems awful on Mordekaiser. The item is most suited for ganks, because in teamfights you're very unlikely to actually get the spirits to target who you WANT to target--but in ganks other heroes will be far away//this can scout for counterganks. But Mordekaiser's ability as a ganking AP is quite poor. He's most powerful as a teamfighter/laner, and the item's usefulness in teamfights is limited for the targeting issue I mentioned. You're never practically going to be able to use it as a gap closer in teamfights because the 2 spirits will pretty much always hit 2 frontline heroes unless theres some egregious positioning error. It's actually more of a laning item. You use to slow your lane opponent so you can play aggressive. The fact that it has 120 second cooldown means you have to be trading it for a kill or Summoner's though. It's not like you can just choose to pop it any time you want to go aggressive.

I thought that the Twin Shadows item would be good for baron dances, like checking to see where the enemy team is when you don't have ward coverage.
But then I remembered about the sight stones and nerfed oracles and realized that it probably won't help too much for those times.

Get Liandry late, if at all. It just doesn't mesh with what Eve is doing (bursting the fuck out of some poor unfortunate soul + bursting team)

So what was the point of nerfing DFG again if they were just going to buff it into this item that bursts down ALL THE SQUISHIES.? Also, has someone tried it in combo with Vlad Ult? It has got to be even more broken then.

Because now it doesn't scale with AP so it's a lot less useful (but still good) in 1v1 situations and better in teamfights. Combined with the increased price cost, I think they did a good job at changing it from being any AP's 5th ability.

I tuned in quite near the end, and he didn't seem to toggle it during the last two teamfights at least. Or is it the toggle icon that isn't visible? I'm looked at it and am sure I didn't see it glittering.

With the sona/amumu lockdown it gives them a ton of aoe cc and damage. Its really werid that they would pick that into a very mobility based comp and anivia from clg. clg can just poke and siege towers and never let themselves get bunched up for the aoe combo from dig to come out.
