I think the stats on Statikk are a lot better than Tiamat though. Comparing to PD, you trade 10% crit percentage, 10% attack speed and ignoring unit collision for insignificant movespeed and the lightning attack. I can definitely see it being useful on Vayne... BF/SotD/BT/Statikk. It definitely depends on how the game is going though, if you don't need waveclear it would be better to go PD. I'd probably not get it on Sivir or Ashe.

The reason to get it is that you want to stuff more stats into the item slot that is currently holding your QSS. I think it was a failed attempt to make it more appealing for melee ADCs.

here is why it's good: QSS is a baller item wuzzat, QSS can now also give you 50 AD and be even better? Gee, I'm fine with that. just finish it when your slots are full, end of discussion.

I can't see myself ever getting it over HG or Abyssal in terms of early-midgame AP, and lategame it's not worth it.

I don't really like the idea, but I might try it. When I'm done with trying the 100000 other builds I need to try right now T.T

It might be prohibitive early game, but as I said before, there's literally no reason to carry wards instead of Sightstone as your 6th item because you're going to be saving for finished items at that point rather than buying components. I only see Viktor having trouble since he's already cramped on slots, actually. As for AD carries items... What do we have with crit? IE, Statikk Shiv, PD? With AD? Zephyr, BT, IE, Scimitar? With AS? Statikk Shiv, PD, Zephyr, SotD. So if you build IE, Shiv and PD seem like the best choices for a follow-up item. SotD doesn't really synergize with it apart from IE's passive, and once SotD is down you suffer a big damage letdown. BT+SotD seems like the best choice for champs that want burst and have AD ratios. SotD goes better on champs like Vayne, Draven, Varus, because they benefit of the AS in one way or another (Vayne has AD steroids, Varus or Twitch's on-hit...) or some stuff (Draven Q auto into SotD stacks his passive 4 times, at level 10 that's an additional 280 damage). Zephyr could be interesting for champs benefiting a lot from their active abilities (I guess poke champs, Varus so he can proc blight more easily, etc.) or that lack escapes, since it allows them to get zerkers and still have tenacity. But with only 20 AD Zephyr is mainly an AS/MS item (pretty high priced at that) and you already buy it to get more MS from keeping zerkers anyway... so I dunno. It doesn't have crit% so it doesn't mesh well with IE, it lacks AD so it doesn't go well with SotD... It's a bit of a bastardized item. It'd rather go with BT/Scimitar I guess, to mesh some AD with its AS, the lifesteal from BT helps survival in those situations where you actually need the tenacity. Stacking zephyr and Scimitar sounds like overkill though. I really don't know where to fit it, except when you're behind I guess and need some survivability. AD ratios, on-hit effects that help bursting people down? BT/SotD. Good on-hit effects over time, especially on-hit that enhance your dps without relying on AD? BT or IE /Hurricane. Relying on autoattacks mainly, and being able to kite or attack safely without too much interruption? IE/PD. Seems like the core are going to be something like that. So Draven/Graves/Varus/Vayne/Twitch/Sivir/Corki/Ezreal would want BT/SotD. Caitlyn/Varus/Twitch/Ashe would want Hurricane. Ashe/Tristana/Caitlyn/Varus go somewhat better with IE/PD than the rest (or Twitch during his ult). And there are still the triforce alternatives I guess. Doesn't go well with SotD (unless you want to proc your phage at all costs x) ), I guess Hurricane could be 0K (for the phage proc only since sheen would only affect the main target), and still compatible with IE and BT.
