So to be clear, does Ryze E count as single target for the purposes of muramana even though it bounces? I would guess it only procs on the initial hit if so?

I ask this because I have seen people say Ryze has 3 single target spells.

how spells work is generally that X number of targets or bounces is single target because its limited to that number where AoE spells possess the ability to hit an infinite number of units within the radius of the spell

it used to apply this way to kat Q and kat ult but then they changed it cause spell vamp and rylais were really strong on her

Because you can't know at the time you choose Kog'Maw what all 9 other champs in the game are going to be.

Even at the point where the draft is decided, you can't guarantee the ultimate development of the gameflow, and the game-state might require you to develop through more powerful midgame items and transition onto lategame items rather than rushing those lategame items directly.

Aphromoo playing support w/ CLG in scrims... trying out for the open position, or just happened to be available to sub?
COMMENCE THE BASELESS SPECULATION.

Jiji tweeted that they were trying out Aphroo, then removed it when liftlift asked him to since it was still hush hush.

Aphrolift incomming.

Aphro would be a waste on a team as anything but AD.

His support is really good, but it's not as dominant as his AD is.

Edit: In that pic, Aphro is building a BC on support Nami lol.

Aphro would be a good support if he is allowed the chance and forced to learn from chauster. His game knowledge and mechanics could transfer very well into a supportive role

it is also utter bullshit that clg would have "open" tryouts to single out Nhatn, Aphro and bloodwater (neither of which applied) and fill the position, cant say that I find them as bad choices, just no reason to have open tryouts ~_~

People say this because you get to use his Q twice in a single rotation due to his passive.

For it proccing on Q I've heard contradicting information so I'm skeptical. That would give her AoE muramana damage on a tiny CD which would be completely ridiculous.

My ISP decided to shit on me and give me a 50 kbps download speed so switching to NA even temporarily is going to take so long...

I think you need to pick a summoner name, and level up past 10 to be able to post on the main forum too.

If you have to get past level 10 to post that's something entirely new, I don't remember ever having to do that even on my smurfs.

I'm not sure if it's intended or not, but if one person on your team has aegis and another person has the aegis upgrade, the two auras stack. They both have the same aura name though, so it shouldn't be stacking I think?

There was a bug with this that made them fully stack, yeah, IDK if they fixed it or when they plan to fix it. I supposed you were checking the buffs on someone who wasn't carrying either item, right?

Yeah, the game where I saw this I was playing Draven, and our jungle had the superaegis and the support had the aegis. I was receiving both.

i still think support is a grossly underestimated role. laning phase is one thing, but post-laning phase is where i believe they really hit their value mark (if laning wasn't lopsided). ward placement and how you move around the map and apply pressure... that's what separates good supports from great ones.

afaik they gave several of the no name guys tryouts and they were mostly pretty bad. At least the ones that I saw streamed most of them were pretty bad, as in, would die in lane often or have questionable plays in mid game. Nhat was Double's #1 choice after loco announced his retirement so I wouldn't be surprised if Doublelift just straight up asked him. And if Aphro and Bloodwater didn't apply why would they be trying out in the first place? I mean, I could see CLG maybe approaching Bloodwater with an offer since he's actually a support player but I doubt anyone on CLG approached Aphromoo and were like, "hey try out for support for us." Also, Aphro apparently wanted to keep it a secret that he was trying out for support role at CLG so...

Knowing CLG they had open tryouts to find a support player who's better than someone like Nhat or Bloodwater only to discover there isn't anyone at their skill level in NA solo queue. Or maybe they just dissected every candidates play so much that no one could've looked very good.

I think almost everyone here agrees with this assessment, it's the general population that really undervalues supports. Far too many people playing this game who think that KDA is be all and end all statistic.

Also Slasher mentioned this subforum on Live On Three :3 recognition.

When did that happen? Did I miss something? I thought locodoco was just going back to Korea to join one of the teams that were making him offers(that and he hated the support role like whoa). Also, I believe one? of the open tryout people "made the cut". Brunch U should probably mentioned somewhere.

I think part of the issue with the support tryouts is that they want a vocal player. Being vocal while you trying out with a bunch of guys you don't know must be hard ;(

Well, Aphro is on a team. A team that I'm sure would be pissed if he "officially" tried out with CLG, particularly in the event he goes back to Fear.
