Hopefully Riot will have some sanity and make the item half-sell-cost rather than the normal 3/4, but given their initial fuckup with Eleisa's sell cost, I doubt it. | ||

The Frozen Fist is cheaper/FH is more expensive than I expected, might lose the bet. Still hoping for a last minute Shurelya's buff though. And yeah Teut, HoG was pretty bad (still is). Idk who you are mocking here. | ||

Wait, you still disagree? I can kinda see why they did it even if mathematically it's not "optimal" to buy hog the fact that it scales really well later on is pretty bad for the game. Sure people can say "oh you win teamfights with that extra 200 gold" that's pretty vague and hard to justify. If you have an advantage but can't snowball it because of natural defensive advantage hog is a pretty boring way to increase an advantage instead of trying to force plays like ganks buff steals or dives. As passive as games often are in competitive play 10 minutes is a really small payoff time for an item that becomes free in 25 (when CLG eu is making their first push at 35 minutes lolol). I don't think HoG was "OP" but I think it's kinda like the old sustain meta where soraka sona alistair taric heal spam bot lane made agression pointless and warwick/udyr/irelia/yorick top made agression pointless there. It's not on that scale but its a similar issue. | ||
