i think you need to read what he said again scip can only play 2 champions and 1 of them is too weak atm

Will jungle monsters still have 0 MR in S3? This part always bothers me.

TSM has the absolutely easiest group.

Did very well at Tales of the Lane and seem to slowly be putting themselves back in form after breaking down somewhat. SGS also took a game off TPA in the GPL finals (although I didn't watch the VoDs so no specifics here) and beat Saigon Jokers 2-0 in the semifinals. I don't think it'll be as easy as it first appears.

I dunno enough about the Asian scene to judge Iceland versus SGS but I think that Curse.eu is at least even to CLGeu in skill as of right now. Especially if they play as well as they did at TotL.
edit: damn it moonbear CLGna and TSM should advance imo but would not be shocked if they both failed out of groups.

Can someone give me a quick overview of Blackbean and IceLanD, they are the only teams I really don't know much about.

I really hope fear and clgna make it out of group B, that would just make my fucking day

Which is kinda fine, since he is my 2nd main, but it's not THAT fine, because other people pick him too. The long answer would be, ever since he can't reliably initiate at all, he has been reduced to a generic bruiser with a speed buff but without a gapcloser. Which makes me sad panda. Wait, clg.na and FEAR where? Because they aren't in the esl atm.

I watched some of the TPA vs SGS games. It was basically a stomp. I would imagine SGS won one game out of some sort of cheese. SGS also got stomped by TSM at MLG, and I don't see them doing better right now.
I am not convinced Curse.eu can do any better. The team has been entirely unremarkable until they somehow won against M5 in a best of 3. Granted that is a pretty big achievement, but I wouldn't conclude from that alone that they will offer a challenge to TSM.

Iceland is a Hong Kong team that has done very little outside of participating in local tournaments. I don't have anything to assess them from other than the fact that they have beaten TPA before. If they're as good as the old CrossGaming team was (the team that TPA got Bebe and Toyz from), they will be a decently strong team.
Blackbean is a Thai team whose only real claim to fame is beating Bangkok Titans locally. Given that Bangkok titans is 4-36 in GPL, that pretty much means nothing. If they're on the level of "slightly better than Bangkok Titans" its not a stretch to say they'd be the weakest team in the tournament.

btw, can someone make an IPL5 thread so we can discuss it there?

clg na has been beating everybody lately from what i've seen (i havent seen their scrims vs tsm because tsm dont want their scrims streamed but that doesnt mean much. people play offline completely differently from when they play offline and while fear are known to slump offline it still doesn't mean they're gonna lose as i said i hope fear and clg na both make it through scip we are talking about ipl 5 check the pages back for link

Group-wise I'd say A and D are roughly equal (M5+TPA is stronger than Blaze+WE, but Blackbean+Crs.NA is weaker than Alternate+Dynamic), followed by group B, then group C being the easiest group.

Doesn't he have mindless sustain and aoe waveclear that doubles as a ganking tool? Mindless sustain? Dam that 5 seconds of 5% lifesteal. And a shield. And it costs no mana. And it doubles as an AS steroid. And for some reason his aoe clear doubles as a ganking tool. And I am very bitter about that champion. But his clear has been proven to be realllllllly bad S3 so can't complain. His early game jungle is his only strong point atm. I have a feeling that it's still going to be way better than Maokai/Sejuani/Rammus/Nautilus.
Oddly enough, it isn't way better. In some cases it isn't even better.
Bear in mind optimization hasn't been done in new jungle yadda yadda boilerplate.

You can't say that they're known to slump offline when they've placed dead last at every LAN they've been to ever.
fuck, I'm tired, I thought you said they were known to slump online since you were just talking about CLGna's online performance not meaning anything. Anyways, I'd like to see Fear do well but I'm pretty sure they won't.
