Yeah I'm not in any rush, a slower pace is fine by me. But usually there's talk about the next hero in this thread around this time, wondering if I should save my IP for it or just buy some runes. Been holding my breath for a new AD or support and have been disappointed the last couple months.

You should have set up your replay watching plan before missing the event. Idk what you used to spoil yourself but I didn't have a problem with the event. Reddit has spoiler free replays and if you went to riots twitch you would have gotten a clean replay of the days games.

Their own3d channel where i went spoilered it so its bad enough tbh, i didnt realise they had twitch till you said, so thanks for that for future reference (I went to solomid to find reruns then figured i would look for the reps from own3d, as thats where reruns came from)
I dont really see how looking on their official channel for replays then getting spoilered is my fault..but the internet is a funny place.

Usually, we don't welcome rage posts in GD but your gripe is actually a pretty fair one. I'm sorry you got spoiled like that. Just another thing Riot could be doing a tad better.
Next time, if you're tip toeing around, just ask in GD and someone will link you the proper VoD with a beginning.
Games are still pretty epic, even if you know the finalists. ^_^
Edit: and JBright's right, our tourney OPs have proper spoilers too. I didn't notice the VoD section at the end, huehue. Sry~

I hate how AD carries basically have to have an escape to be relevant these days, it makes it much easier to position plus you can't get focused as easily in team fights.

i think they need to have an escape because they can't rely on others to protect them. and i'm not talking about like everyone peeling but they'd rather chase kills than collapse on those diving for their ad carry.

There's also the issue of every single viable top lane bruiser has some form of gap closer. Without good mobility your AD carry is screwed unless you build your team comp to specifically protect your AD carry lategame.

Well even in competitive play, picking an AD with escape allows for more flexibility in making your team comps. If you pick Kog or Vayne for example, you're essentially forced into picking a comp that's good at protecting your AD carry.
