Never quite worked out if it was better to max Q or W, or if its just matchup dependent. The most popular build/s atm seem to revolve around a DFG + tanky (Abys/Rylai etc). Any suggestions for skill order and items? | ||

DFG is so popular nowadays because its a flat HP% spell nuke. Hextech Gunblade is less popular because of W's movement speed bonus and how expensive it is. | ||

I personally like 9/21/0 and a fitting defensive runepage (obviously still with MPen marks). Imo Deathcap is THE core item on Kat. Revolver is overrated. Never Gunblade. I sometimes get a Guise, sometimes even a DShield, and either Sorcs or Mercs. Other items should be DFG, Abyssal, Void, and GA/Hourglass. Going tanky past earlygame other than GA/Hourglass is nonsense because you only ever go deep into the enemy team if you can get your Voracity chain off. GA/Hourglass work because it gives your allies time to kill someone which resets your cooldowns. | ||
