Look at his Elo. If the Akali is 1500 and both guys in the same as him, that's around a 200 Elo gap, which can be pretty significant. Hence my question, as Lux doesn't do really well against Akali post-6, so factoring a potential 200 Elo gap... :p

I'd assume Akali was top... otherwise would be pretty hard to feed karthus blue from across the map.

EDIT: I'm so dumb... I suppose that doesn't even awnser the question. haha.

I actually don't like solo queuing Naut jungle. Unless you're building hella AP and Wit's, your damage isn't strong enough to carry 4 other idiots. So many times I've gone into a teamfight, laid out the CC, focused a squishy, and no one took advantage of it enough to do anything, so we lost anyway, despite being up 4+ kills and me being tanky as hell.

Then again, I suppose I'm just better at more bruiser champs than straight tanks, so it might just be me.

Yeah, I tend to find w/solo-queue Naut/Maokai it's better to peel like a madman for your carry and hope their right-mouse button is functional rather than focusing a squishy :/

Yep. When I duo with my 1300 friend it doesn't matter what champion I play. People just don't know how to control the lane and you can kill them extremely easily

It's fine to grab/ult a squishy or high priority target, but late-game you're not going to deal enough damage (even with AP/Wit's) to be as useful chasing them as you will be constantly rooting/slowing/grabbing people going after your carries.

When I play a support jungler, I generally try to snowball the lane which is most likely going to carry the game for the team, and focus on peeling for that carry during teamfights.

I'm not sure if there's a jungler thread to put this discussion in, but eh, not a big deal either way.

So how do you guys deal with ganking bot lane? I often find it the hardest to gank, for a number of factors. There's often high CC or sustain from supports, which can stop a gank cold. Good supports also ward the hell out of it (tribush, river, possibly even lane bushes), forcing anything I try to do into a tower dive because they'll see me coming a mile away.

Obviously the answer to the first is to keep pressure on and make them run out of CDs/mana, and the second is to get an Oracle's or Pink ward and clear out before committing. However, even doing that makes bottom lane my least ganked lane in most games just because of how much easier it is to do any other lane.

I pick Shen and wait for them to get dived.

More seriously, if I can't afford an oracle I'll just tell them to make sure there are no wards, or I'll only be able to scare the enemy lane from time to time. My biggest fear when jungling in ranked is having my botlane fail, because I really don't see how I can do much about it.

There's nothing more depressing than watching a Vayne/Blitz lane on the enemy team that knows how to ward. The most I could do in that game (playing Naut) was direct gank from our side of the lane, but it didn't stop her from snowballing out of control. Sad day.

On a completely separate topic, I only saw 1 Draven yesterday, how is he? He seems like a decent AD, but I haven't seen him enough to know otherwise. A nearly constant +85% AD from his Q and his insane W steroid seems like he might be great, but measuring up to the top ADs right now is probably a bit of a task.

The key to ganking bottom lane is to track wards. Beyond simply knowing where they are, you can time them and exploit the temporary loss of vision to set up some mean ganks. It's something I've been meaning to practice, but if you're monitoring bottom lane you should consider timing wards as you would buffs/dragon.

Ganking bot lane is also generally easier if you're purple team because it's harder for blue team to ward all of your potential ganking paths. A Dragon ward doesn't protect the Wraiths->Tribrush route, and if they're pushed to your tower a lot of junglers can flash over the wall to start things off.

The key to ganking bot is either to use long range ults or ask the support to buy pinks.

Also, having proper vision yourself so you can SEE exactly where the enemy support warded instead of guessing and can tell your jungler immediately

Come through lane. Win! Free gank, especially if you're naut. Just camp a brush after there are no wards/ran out.

If you can time bot lane's wards, you can destroy them. I often duo with a friend of mine who is a spectacular support player. He always times the other supports wards if he sees them lay them, otherwise he gives an estimate of them. Wards have a 3 minute duration. So if bot wards river at 3:00, come back at 6:00 and gank. Can't tell you how many times we've gotten first blood doing this.

Who went against the 1500 Elo Akali? Morde or Lux?

Morde, I had used my exhaust and my red buff had expired by the time he asked for a gank so I just went there to scare her away. The Morde was really bad but the Lux didn´´t even die to Akali that much. My problem with my team is that Akali was firstpick and they still picked those champions.
