Also Sona's W just too weak. The aura was super strong back when it used to actually heal, but now the heal is weak for a huge mana cost (scaling), the aura is average, so it's weak as a clutch heal, and too expensive as a sustain heal. I played her against an Alistar (some 25 AP or something from runes) and Teemo, I couldn't harass at all because Q (without hitting 2 minions) and powerchord would basically put me in range of Ali who would WQ me for half my health, while Teemo would simply Q-right click for the other half, almost instantly. She's that squishy. T_T
Hey man, you'd be angry if your server was down for like five days too.

Looks like this downtime is going to go on for a while now. I don't see Riot clocking into an entire night for this.
I heard that something similar happened during the Leona patch. Anyone knows what happened afterwards? I am pondering if Riot will actually put stuff on sale after this chaos.

I started LoL shortly before the EU server split, so y'know, been here before.
From my experiences Sona's still very good in teamfights if you know how to manage your spell order to get the right powerchords when you need them ('sup Jax, eat -20% damage), and her heal is pretty passable over the course of a drawn-out fight—I still feel her strongest spell for clean-up is her E, didn't get to compare it to Janna's passive but it makes flights and chases really easy. The problem is getting to that stage without getting shat on in lane, and that's one point your carry is usually pretty concerned with too.

What the fuck? I just typed in thereisnourflevel when the servers were "down"... and it made them available... why is it even like that lol.
edit- apparently you get banned from forums for revealing that... lol

how to lane as jax vs akali plz

Don't really understand the 3 day ban though... just a bit harsh since I don't really see any rule breaking there lol. Oh well, rarely go to post on those anyways >_>

Punch her in the face whenever her stealth circle is on cooldown and as soon as she activates it, E and run away, just to combo her again as soon as it ends. If you can farm well, throw in an oracles and you can just bully her out of the game.

Why did people stop jungling Nunu?
I've played like ten games in a row with him, and it feels really strong. He clears pretty quick (bloodboil+wriggles OP), ganks well, his teamfight is amazing...
His level 2 ganks top are just as obnoxious as Lee Sin ganks, because Cripple goes from 30-0% over course of 4 seconds Snowball actually a stronger slow (20% over 4 seconds is better than 30% for 1 second, 22.5% for 1 second, 15% for 1 second, and 7.5% for 1 seconds) and you can use it twice during the gank if you have CDR masteries (ie 9/21/0 or 0/21/9). That, and both Nunu and teammate run/attack really fucking fast.
Been building him typical bruiser. Wriggles->Wits->Tanky shit.
Plus Consume gives you stupidly good Dragon/buff control. Unfortunately it only does half damage against Baron QQ.
Also, I assume he'd shit on things top. Because he so fast he control engages, his Q give him stupidly good sustain even at level 1, and snowball is an AS debuff. I'd assume it be much like laning against Lee Sin.

I think he's a great champion and his kit is absurdly strong, but if you lane him, you really have to shut people down in order to warrant picking him. He CAN deny some top laners and some mids aswell if you play him AP, but I think he's best off as a support. As for jungling, I think there's simply better choices. There's nothing he does particularly well in the jungle.

While he doesn't do anything well in particular in jungle, he does it all pretty well. He farm well, gank well, teamfight well. Its not like he is bad at any one particular thing either.

Fuck her W. Her E power chord and her Q are just so god damn good, that it makes up for the nerfs.

I don't jungle as much any more, so I wouldn't know wether I am just mistaken, but if I have to jungle, I tend to pick my champion with an intention in mind: are there any easily gankable lanes or ones that snowball really well? Better get an early ganker. Do you have a scenario where the enemy jungler is really dependant on farm and you don't really want to gank your lanes all too regularly? Better get someone who clears insanely fast aswell so you don't fall behind once midgame hits. Maybe you just want someone for his insanely good teamfighting or their late game, and there's champions for that, too. Where does Nunu fit in? He's an all-around talent, but I'd rather have someone like Nautilus for that.
He's not bad, not at all, and I would play him in normals for funsies, but in ranked, I'd be scared to pick him.

I don't know about you, but AP nunu mid/top is legitimately strong. The only downside to his ridiculous snowball spam and free dive is his high mana cost, which can be worked around with good passive control
|
Nunu AP mid against a Karthus or a Veigar is particularly hilarious I've found. Also top lane where Q allows you to control the lane as much as you want (since you're not a good pusher by yourself) and Ice ball hurts so much you can use it to zone people.

Yeah thats fair, Nautilus is better.
That being said, people still play Mao and imo Nunu just as good if not better than Mao at like everything.
