I mean, what is so good about Nidalee that makes her a strong top laner? Sona's speed is not as good as Nidalee, but her pokes are stronger/longer (unless you count spear; but no one will get hit by the spear anyway). It feels to me that Sona is currently weak, but she is just one small push from being release Lulu. | ||

Not sure how good Sona's poke/damage is, but AD Nidalee is retarded to deal with. The biggest thing about her trading(outside of free spells) is her AS steroid that also serves as her sustain. She destroys a lot of top laners at least in the early levels. Don't really think Sona would be a good escape artist. MS isn't enough when you aren't nearly as tanky as someone with MS buff like Udyr/Mundo. | ||

I am thinking something proc based with Sheen and Brutalizer (or Tear?) as core, then transition to a typical bruiser build with Trinity/Warmog/Atma's/GA/LW/Gunblade/FH depending on the situation. This might work on low Elo... Her health is just way too low though. If her health becomes closer to around 400+ 85 per level I think she will definitely be semi-viable top. But she has only 380 + 70 per level... in comparison Olaf has 430 + 93 per level and Nidalee has 370 + 90 per level | ||

It wasn't really that strong though even then, and she is much weaker now. | ||

Also Sona's W just too weak. The aura was super strong back when it used to actually heal, but now the heal is weak for a huge mana cost (scaling), the aura is average, so it's weak as a clutch heal, and too expensive as a sustain heal. I played her against an Alistar (some 25 AP or something from runes) and Teemo, I couldn't harass at all because Q (without hitting 2 minions) and powerchord would basically put me in range of Ali who would WQ me for half my health, while Teemo would simply Q-right click for the other half, almost instantly. She's that squishy. T_T | ||
