Actually you're right. It looks like it can be done with any summoner spell. The video right below your post of smite flash is especially retarded.

Yea ignite seems like a bad idea. The 3 best summs probably are: - flash - be everywhere in a split second, - smite - lvl up like crazy - heal - never die. I'm not surprised that the guy in the vid picked smite - flash/heal would have "won" vs flash/smite but he isn't playing vs other hackers so grabbing quick lvls is more important (on the other hand i'm surprised how does Riot let all these bugs happen, veigar restun bug, yorick ult bug and now this)

I forgot how good fiddles fear is... That has got to be the best CC in the game hands down. FlashUlt in, do big AoE damages, and in the meantime trolololol lock their AD carry out of the teamfight. Fiddles like best teamfighter in game.

If the projects get this big, its hard to test everything you ever put in and all the thousands of combinations of things that could possibly happen. Its just not possible to test everything, they never claim everything is bugfree and for as long as its free to play, you cant really complain about it.

Riot fixes them quickly I see no reason to be upset by it. If the problem went unanswered for long periods of time, sure. Otherwise, I still recall many games I've played over the years where hacks/cheats/bugs went unfixed by companies who have moved on to other projects.

He has 7 points on Mastermind (7*15%=105% cdr on summoner spells), hence the no cooldown smite and flash. I have seen people getting 30 AD, or 60 armor from masteries zzz

In retrospect this bug isn't all that surprising. Originally, masteries were saved locally. This meant that even if you hacked false masteries, when the server queried your client for the mastery information it also tested it for validation. So if your masteries didn't check out, it would just ignore them. So, for example, if you locally edited the mastery functionality to give yourself 60 masteries, it would only take the first 30 valid points and ignore the rest, or just assign you 0 masteries instead. When masteries moved to the servers, you now save the information directly to a database. This information is then extracted by the game server when you play. When this information is extracted, no validation occurs to check if the mastery choice is legal or not and the game applies what it sees. Instead, validation occurs client-side and is then sent to the database to be stored. What I'm guessing occurs is the hack spoofs the validation and tells the database to store illegal masteries since the database doesn't know how to validate, only the client and game server does. This could probably have been prevented by adding an extra layer of validation somewhere. Hindsight is of course 20/20 and I'm guessing they tried to skimp in order to make the masteries feel more responsive to players who experience higher latency. On the bright side, it will be relatively easy to track down the people who were hacking because you just have to look at all the mastery submissions from the past few days and then run a search to see which ones were illegal. Then you can just ban the accounts found guilty. Anyway, if you guys ever come across any hacks or bugs, please send me a PM (or to MoonBear) and I will escalate this issue immediately to the relevant people. Please don't post about it publicly, as knowledge of the hack only lets more people abuse it while Riot works on a fix, which can take time. Also, Ranked Queue is disabled while Riot tests and deploys a hotfix. This is getting fixed today, rest assured.
