Hmmm... interesting. Lategame mundo is worthless, does no damage, gets kited, can't tank because you can just ignore him. That's what they said here anyways.
Yeah, thats what i remember the general consensus being.
That being said, i have never really played Mundo much, so I honeslty have no idea.

Saint having quite a bit of communication problems with the koreans =D
Oh yeah and he said his favorite trance song is Piledriver by Amoeba Assassin o.O Like I knew that he had a good taste in music, but THAT good a taste... I'm impressed!

Lategame Mundo is worse than lategame Shyv, me thinks. Mundo either runs in too early and gets blown up in 2 seconds thanks to ignite, or runs in at the right time and gets ignored.
Mind you, for a very long time, everyone thought Morde was useless because you could just ignore him, he then turned out to be OP and got nerfhammered.
What Shyv is better at is invading the jungles. With the free speedbuff from W and a free flash from the ulti, she basically gets away always. Mundo has better ganks tho.
Dunno, different champs, different strenghts and stuff.

I think whether or not you can kite Mundo depends on if you ate a cleaver or not. I find strange though to compare Shyv and Mundo in terms of utility. Both have next to none, but obviously SV thinks that Mundo's cleaver is much more useful than Shyvs ult and the armor shred. He will know better for sure, so I guess one should just try it.

Watching SV playing on korean server. The 1200 players there are easily better than 1500 elo on NA lmao. Map awareness + not pointlessly feeding in lane.

Yeah, that last game were not 1200 at all at least for people on SV side. I secretly hope he will get some elo hell later

Late-lategame Mundo is a beast. Most likely stronger than Shyvana. Below lvl 6 he's also strong. But inbetween? I'd rather have a Shyvana there in most compositions.

what do you guys think of the lifesteal quints? I figure with those, 3% from mastery, and 6% from 2 dblades, you pretty much have a wriggles without the constant wards, armor, and a proc that's usually useless in lane (unless maybe you're trying to push your lane hard as fiora). I'm thinking about buying them with wriggles nerf coming up :\

I think it was snoopeh on SOTL that mentioned people might not know how to play mundo properly, and he is correct.
Mundo is a late game champ, but like all other champs you have to play to his synergies. He isn't a disabler, he can't force people to attack him aside from putting himself out there exposed or doing enough damage to warrant enemy attention.
What these "top" players who play him don't seem to utilize well is his mobility and the fact that he does more damage the lower his health, which means you need to find a way to float him around with low health, but not low enough to get bursted down.
When I watch these big name players jungle mundo, I notice they aren't particularly good at weaving in and out of fights like a good mundo should.
Shyvana and Mundo are both good, it just depends what kind of fighting you want to do.

Tbh he has already won a few games so his MMR is already a bit higher.
And you tend to see around the same stuff happen on ~1350 EUW.

I won my first 10 ranked games as well. Now I am stuck at around 1500 lol. Luck played quite a bit in solo-queue. I don't think SV can carry if top and bot feed. He can only help one lane at a time.

So the normal game "top rating" is really your top rating within your past 10 games (seems true from a few profiles i checked).
The top rating is just taking your current rating and adjusting it with the +/- elo from your match history. I think that's what you were kind of saying, but just clarifying it. If you've only won in your match history your top rating will be your current rating.

Saintvicious proving there is no such thing as elo hell, and puts a whole team on his shoulders. Starts game 0/1, team feeds, ends game 17/1/5.

The same thing about the normal elo, that a lot of information is sent to our clients that is simply not shown anywhere, was told by the guy on reddit who is making his own custom "pre-game client" as in, writes his own client that does everything before you get into a game. Haven't followed the development lately, but he was really for putting in all the suggestions people have made to riot on what to add into the client like the timer for the FWotD, normal elo shown, match history beyond 10 games and more information about them (both team setups for example) and so on.

I hope you don't seriously believe that such a game is a strong indication of such a thing.
