Malphite does okay as well. And since when was WW, Shyv even remotely considered "tanks"?

It is a meaningless distinction that only serves to confuse Riot and make them create subpar champions.

She a tank in that you have to target her or she gonna chunk your entire team with AoE, rather than a tank in that you have to target her because she going to CC the hell out of your Carries so they do no damage. Same role, really.

If you feel that you're behind in farm, offer to hold lanes for teammates, and take their cs as they B. And usually post 6, you either shove someone out of their lane, or straight up kill them. If either of these happen, help your teammates push the lane super hard to deny XP and gold. This will also increase your gold intake.

People have discussed it a lot on these forums but the term tank is super vague in LoL because while there are champions that can tank they also do other things such as deal damage or initiate fights. I feel like the separation between characters who are "tanks" and characters who are "tanky dps" or bruisers is so negligible that it doesn't even matter. Like, is Cho'Gath a tank or a bruiser? Does it depend on how you build him, like if you go full tank is he suddenly just a tank or if you build a more traditional RoA/Wit's + tank items build is he now suddenly a bruiser? 'Cause the way that most people build Cho'Gath he's going to do just as much, maybe more, damage as other bruisers will. Same can be said for Shyvana, Warwick, Mundo, and tons of other champions that people would consider "tanks."

@hidden_motives: What specifically are you having trouble with as WW? I find that he is extremely easy to get farmed in the jungle. I start wolves -> blue and try to get 6 as fast as I can. At that point, every time my ult is up I show up to a lane and jump on someone. Usually, this gets a kill and at the very least, they will have to dash, flash, and ghost to get away, so you just take as much CS as you can while pushing the lane to the tower. TD can probably offer more tips, I think he plays a lot of WW...

And it's not like you build the exact items in the exact order every time. Just like we decided a few pages ago that anyone with IE/PD/LW will do tons of damage, anyone with a bunch of tank items can take a ton of damage. No sense in arguing what is what.

Now I get at least a few offensive items before my GA. WW feels really strong. Love his ganks and his lategame just catching people. I've been trying bilgewater, Triforce, madreds br, FH, thornmail, and now want to try GA. Bilgewater makes every gank work, but it leaves me in the dust on CS. I also max Q. Is there anything wrong with any of this?

I'm building runepages, and I got the most basic stuff covered. Wondering what I should buy next. I play 95% of the time jungler, rarely toplane, sometimes support and never AD/AP carry. I have: Marks: ArPen Armor (for support page) AD AS Seals: Armor Glyphs: MR/lvl AS Quints: MS AS GP10 AP Armor AD Spellvamp

Is there anything wrong with any of this? Q is standard. FH is core I'd say. Triforce is common. MBR is common. GA is excellent. Thornmail and Bilgewater are where you lose me. In general, Thornmail is an item I only get when I absolutely need it, eg, 3-4 auto attackers on the other team. Bilgewater is an item I've never gotten on WW, but I don't think it's a good idea. Lategame I almost always have like 250 CS and a bunch of kills and assists on him so I've basically got money coming out my lil wolf ears and having ~3300 gold tied up in two slots for thornmail and bilgewater is just not ideal. I know the slow is cool, but phage is better overall, and it builds into that awesome triforce. If CS is your issue, I think a faster Wits End could be a solution. Try that out and return and report.
