Well, Froggen literally doesnt get AP on Anivia. So that isnt the issue.
The problem that I think you would run into would be how to get her mana, since you either need to dedicate blue to her late game or get her an AA early, which means wards are gonna be slow.
But Anivia does give HUGE gank potential, moreso even than Ali or Leona simply because of the power of her wall. Not to mention it pretty much instantly saves you from getting ganked.
The main problem I see with support anivia would be how to get her a fast tear without her getting stupid fed really really early.

the only reason i'd play support anivia is to just wall shit everywhere. Which would admittedly be hilarious.

Also, yes, Taric sucks and the fact that people still run him as support is a very good indicator that there's room for champions that don't scale horribly taking his place. Just buy a chalice instead of one of the "support gp5" and be fine with your mana, y0.
Seriously - Chalice/Reverie vs HoG/Reverie is usually better survivability cuz +MR vs +HP and like 40 more mp5.

i'm thinking about buying one of the bundles to get a few champs to choose from and support riot for making an awesome game.
the champions in both packs are completely different so i would like to hear from you which pack has the best overall selection of champions to learn and play soloq with.

Either one works. Personally I would just grab whichever one has more champions you want to learn.

There's one bundle that refund a lot of its own RP cost and has an exclusive skin. (Digital Colector's I think?) If you just want to buy a bundle, go for that. However, it's probably more useful to look at what both bundles contain and see which one contains more hero's you'd rather be playing or already don't own. Both bundles contain a mix of champions from each role so it's more a matter of what you'd enjoy more.

Collector's went on sale for $10 at one point and also had $10 of RP. You did have to pay for S&H though so it wasn't quite even on the RP cost. I don't know if that sale will ever repeat.

I bought both when I started playing the game. Bought the rune page pack a while later. Do not regret it. There ain't much overlap between the two, and it freed up space for me to buy 6300 champions that I really liked with IP. 6300 IP is such a huge amount for a champion or a rune page. I still am not close to getting all champions, but at least I'm over half...

Man the Taric hate, is abit much. Yeah he's not the best support ever but really he's a lot better then most people give him credit for.

LOL yea i had a chinese duoq on my team yesterday. the entire chat was filled with them speaking chinese and apparently they didnt understand english. they feed 0-10 bot and jungler gets to camp me top 24/7 it was the best. idk how we won that.
