"Every tournament" isn't exactly relevant seeing as WCG is like the only tournament that has been played on Fizz patch or later (which was his last nerf). And he was hardly permaban/pick at WCG.

It's because, you know, it's hard to deal with a good kass riftwalking everywhere. Tourneys aren't the same as solo queue. In solo queue you put an ad carry/bruiser there, in tourneys you have to put an ad carry/bruiser/certain AP like swain/sion there and make sure their jungle doesn't camp the lane and makes him snowball. Much easier to ban him.

Yes and i agreed they counter him in lane , but MY POINT is that it doesnt matter if he gets countered in lane , because any decent player will still get enough farm to be able to zone out / assasinate the ranged carry out of the fight. ( this is assuming both down lanes did equally or almost. Which leads to the fight being essentially 4v5 after a few seconds of cd's. After 2 death's the other ranged carry will be absolutely dead weight. Anyway im out , thanks for the undeserved warning , good luck in your future adventures in league of legends.

It's official, guys. A lot of the top teams in the world aren't sane because they put ad carries against kassadin sometimes.

we are talking mostly solo q , not tourneys. Its well known and obvious riot balances for the mass public rather than the tournaments , or nerfs like eve or xin zhao would have never happened.

Well even in earlier patches it seems like Kass bans were more targeted bans (for instance EG always banning Kass against TSM because they didn't want to deal with Regi's Kass).

On NA yes. I refrained from saying that because I'm not sure what Kassadin's ban priority looks like on EU.

The game would be a lot better if riot would tell their playerbase to stop being idiots and what to do instead of just nerfing it because 90% of the players who play this game can't figure out that putting an AD vs kassa mid denies him a shitload of cs, and he can't kill you early when all he has is Q and can never get in range for anything else.

Uh if the kass is played against correctly he'll be down probably 30 or more cs after laning. We're talking about nearly 1.5k gold worth of items. For that amount the ad could pick up a QSS straight up to survive kass's burst. :/ how is an underfarmed kass going to burst down an ad carry with over 100MR?
Edit: i just find solo q funny. You always only see assassians or gank-centeic (sion, shaco) champs being banned lol
I loved playing solo q in the beginning of season 2. Elo being in such a mess you just pick an assassian type and feed off bads who are 1500 but were 1250 last season. :D

Kass has super high mobility he can always go to a side lane and pick up kills ;d

And he can do it just with his sustaining items since his ulti's dmg scales with mana and catalyst / tear give plenty. At BlackPaladin , Kassadin can start picking up kills as soon as he has blue which is 7-9th min mark at worst depending on the jungler's route. Ad carries finish their first item at ~17-20 mark most of the time depending on kills if any. And thats surely gonna be a non surviability item. Qss doenst help alot vs kassadin since he bursts u and goes away leaving you low enough to be unable to team fight or easily finishable by others or second combo. Also if u build qss after your first item you will be severaly behind on damage compared to the other ranged ad , especially if igts LW ( graves ) or PD ( other ad's )

He can still riftwalk:p but that's post 6 so he'll be down a lot by the time he can gank. There's no way kassa can gank with full hp without missing a minion wave or 2, so the gank won't be that strong anyways.
