Perhaps in the beginning people will play even more passive, but after a while good players will know when they can or not play aggressive. I think it's way better. It baffles me that people bitch about LoL being super passive and the one thing that helps make the game more aggressive gets called an "easy get out of jail free card." Not that I'm saying you feel that way but a lot of people seem to and they're the same people who dislike how passive the game is. I just don't think nerfing Flash was the smartest way to encourage aggressive play or deal with the fact that most games nearly everyone takes it. Buff the other summoner's to be close to Flash in strength instead.

I feel like nerfing sustain would encourage aggression as any damage dealt will have a lasting effect (and even a laner who''s more hurt than his opponent will go for unreturned harass if the opportunity arises).

The other summoners can have value in fighting a gank as well - but currently Flash is the best.

Also I played Sion mid, Karma top and Janna support today. So much shield. It was amazing.

The best scenario I can see happening is people having to start cloth + ward + 2 pots etc so there is less pot spam in lane while having more aggression, which I'll admit could potentially be cool.

That way if you flash, someone can always flash onto you. Also, some champs would be less fucked when people have their flash up.

Dignitas is going to scrim coL very soon. http://www.team-dignitas.net/streams/jatt Stream from Jatt's POV, might be helpful to some aspiring junglers. Teams were: Regi - Zilean Rainman - Gangplank Chaox - Trist Xpecial - Alistar Oddone - Karthus Westrice - AP Shen Dan - Kog Salce - Orianna Dyrus - Olaf (jungle) Nhat - Sona Epik were ahead to start with when TSM got an early baron and took the lead. However, Epik were still standing toe-to-toe in team fights and they evened things up and got their own baron. They couldn't do a whole lot with it and once it had worn out, fights became a case of no one dying. There was a fight at one point with TSM with Baron and Epik pushing their first top tower where everyone except Shen on both sides were down to about 10% health and all escaped. Epik's strategy was to make Kog invincible in fights with Shen ult, Sona and Orianna shield and there was a lot of points where Dan was saved from a really bad situation because of it. However, Dan kept getting caught in bad spots and after a while, Epik weren't doing enough damage before Dan went down to clean up. Most of the fights eneded with Orianna, Shen and Sona alive and Trist, Ali and Zilean alive and Zilean/Trist would clean up. Shen looked interesting but he seemed to just become an ult and a taunt after a certain point. Regi played really well with some really clutch ults (one on Trist with about .5% health left) but he did miss one that almost cost them the game. Xpecial and Regi did really well after fights to keep eachother alive and so on. Regi was ganking a lot with Zilean as well and there were a lot of ganks and counter ganks at top by both teams. I don't think Regi had to ult himself once. Jungle karthus did really well and netted TSM first blood. It was really cool to see that Regi would never ult karthus and would save it for the rest of them. It was a close game but it Dan getting caught too early probably lost it for them although it was hard to tell how well AP Shen and Olaf did. There were a few mistakes from Epik with people running into really strange places or chasing way to far.

Yeah, Shen (Westrice I think) kept getting caught without warding as he pushed and he chased a ton. Dyrus sometimes is overconfident 1v1 with Olaf and messed up a few times as well (ulting past karthus wall chasing too far into mid). Kog'maw was out in front too much, especially near mid turret/inhib and got caught. Lot of fun watching some of the pros scrim though.

It depends on how it affects both players. Some things can increase aggression from both players, while other things might make one player even more passive (especially when there's a power gap between the champions).
