Not sure how I feel about Irelia's ult dealing physical damage now. Is this good or bad?

Good if you don't play irelia. It's a nerf to her. Champs have more armor than MR, so it dealing physical damage naturally will reduce the damage her ult deals just by lvling up, regardless of items.

Math is easy.
If a spell does 300 damage with a .5 AP ratio, you need 150 AP for the two to be equivalent. At a .8 ratio that shrinks to 94, and at a 1 AP ratio it's only 75.

Crit is highly efficient once you have IE, movespeed is great on ranged AD, and well, it gives ASpd.

Am I the only one liking the name change ability? It will finally bring unity to clans or a close group of friends.

The Havoc mastery now increases total physical and magic damage dealt by 4%, instead of increasing base physical and magic damage dealt by 5%
will my jax with around 15AD from runes and dorans blade and 21 offense do more damage in early levels or less? i'm too dumb to get the numbers right

Nothing I play ever gets buffed or nerfed. Guess I need to start finding champions to abuse.

Yep. For physical attacks, the math is also easy. Have 100 base AD? Grab a Pickaxe and you're breaking even with the old Havoc. Any more AD than that, and you're coming out ahead.

Previously, AD scaling abilities with Havoc were being calculated as such:
(base damage + (1.05 * base AD + bonus AD) * (AD ratio)) * 1.05
That is, they were getting the 5% bonus on the base AD and then ALSO a 5% bonus on the total damage. Post-change, there are two ways they might change the calculation:
(base damage + 1.04 * AD * (AD ratio)) * 1.04 OR (base damage + AD * (AD ratio)) * 1.04
With regard to straight autoattack damage, it's a simple case of whether your bonus AD comprises 20% or more of your total AD. With 18 bonus AD at level 1 (26 if you start Doran's Blade), it should be a buff for you even at early levels.
