also consider that with the flash nerf, people might start taking exhaust/ignite more, which is going to fuck a jungle gank and potentially make it a countergank
also consider taking smite on a laning champ that isn't summoner reliant or appears to be a jungler (in my mind, someone like xin zhao sona or kassadin, who has good mobility without summoners, or is a support champ, or a jungler that can also lane well like xin/shen), contest/steal an initial buff, completely slowing down the jungler, then go back to lane to start zoning. now your jungle is a level or two behind and your solo is being zoned. your move?
of course this won't work in solo queue because people are too worried about their own stats (i.e. refusing to zone and instead pushing the lane for creeps, nullifying your efforts) but in a 5-man team with good communication and people knowing their roles (i.e. you buy the wards for the lane and dragon, let me have the last hits because i'm the carry) there is 0 chance that an effective zone setup will lose to a jungling team now

If we assume 5-man teams with equally good communication and people knowing their roles there's a fair chance to beat a zone setup. The jungling team could do any of the following to mess with your plan:
- Gank top early. This could easily devolve into level 1 team fights, but that's fun anyway so who cares.
- Have top take teleport and join with mid for a 2v1 if there's a complete exp deny. If all the player from top does is absorb exp and harass it's not a big deal due to the exp changes. The uber exp deny duo top can't push because then the player teleports back and the deny is defeated by simple creep management. Anything else the duo does will result in antics and fun times mid and elsewhere.
- Go euro style and use vision wards at dragon. The enemy can still teleport nearby, but assuming both teams are warding the jungler will have plenty of warning.
I'm not saying any of these are foolproof, but the full exp deny only seems 100% potent if the jungling team doesn't adapt. As long as the full exp deny remains uncommon it'll be effective simply by virtue of surprise. Were it to become popular an effective counter-strategy would be right behind it.

There's a new option in the latest patch to flip the minimap to its rightful place on the left!!! So good~ Looks like they fixed the font too.

Cuz A) I haven't seen one of those in a LOOOOOONG time and B) when I'm the jungler vs that team I absolutely stomp them.

Tbh it depends, if the team without a jungler has CV and the solo top people decide to take the tower at lv4 and roam then they should be fine. At least one copy of smite is compulsory, but they can put it on a character that isn't too summoner skill dependant. Basically what they are doing is delaying their jungler's first 1 and a half run and leaving the opponent solo top exposed without a tower, which can be beneficial for future ganks if both the opponent solos are squishies.
If 1 person in the nojungle team can open rejuv pendant+ward or boots+ward they can ward by the top brush and push/dive safely.
I still stand by the fact that a buff control is essential, but wards+smite can do that job.

hehe, reminds me of the deny-xp-for-melees patch for dota a few years ago, everyone was complaining, but in the end it made the game ten times better. Way too many strats and heroes in the game were dogma/too good anyway, nice that they shake things up.

those patchnotes are fake, read the bottom. + Show Spoiler +So I spent the last few days hoping for the new patch. And it was never announced probably because they are saving it for New Year's. This is my personal fantasy of what it should look like, but won't. Upvotes for wanting the same patch as me. I had to nerf and rebalance some of my personal favorites like Zilean for sake fairness.
