NeoIllusions: Great to have you here with us Lautemortis. First of all, could you tell us what it meant to you to participate in the LCS? coL Lautemortis: Participating in the LCS was a great experience! I had a lot of fun working with the Rioters and other pro players. In the first split of the LCS ever it was a learning process for both Riot and the teams and while hectic it was definitely fun to be a part of. Being in the LCS also meant a lot of work to practice and stay competitive with the other teams. Along with all the practice hours, we also spent lots of time being shuttled to and from the studio and other events. All of the exposure we were given was awesome, and made me love being a professional LoL player. NeoIllusions: I imagine being a progamer is not all glitz and glam. What did you specifically have to give up in order to become a part of coL and participate in the LCS? coL Lautemortis: In order to practice most efficiently we decided to get a gaming house in California. This meant leaving family and friends back home and moving out to a new state on my own. This was a big step because I love my family a lot, but in order to achieve success we thought it was necessary, so we all made the sacrifice to move out here to get better. NeoIllusions: In the Summer Promotion, you had the opportunity to play against Meteos in the Jungle. What is your impression of his jungle style and of Quantic as a whole? coL Lautemortis: Quantic plays very aggressively in controlling the second spawn of the Golem buff (between 7-9 minutes), it is a strategy they obviously spent a lot of time practicing and we weren't good at defending. It often led to early game advantages for them, which in they expertly turned into mid game victories. Meteos himself is Quantic's best player, in my opinion, and he will definitely be one of the best junglers in the NA LCS. As a friend I wish him the best of luck! NeoIllusions: How do you think Quantic will fare in the Summer Split? coL Lautemortis: Quantic is a very strong team, all the hype surrounding them was definitely justify as they dominated us to get into the LCS. While people may look at Chuuper having to replace brunch Ü as a reason we lost, I want to simply iterate that it was not. We played tons of scrims and games beforehand and they [Quantic] were performing better than ever leading up to the LCS relegation. We simply didn't perform as well as we had been and Quantic was the better team. I expect them to finish top 3. NeoIllusions: The NA and EU LCS put a lot of teams in the spotlight in the sense of scouting, preparation, and teamwork. Given that in just ten weeks, League has undergone some dynamic changes. Was there anything in particular that surprised or interested you about the other Junglers in this weekly league format? coL Lautemortis: Junglers in the LCS changed a lot throughout the LCS, not only the champions, but also the items. It took a while at first for people to realize Locket of the Iron Solari is a top tier jungling item, while at the end of the LCS (after a slight nerf) it is rarely being picked up. Spirit Stone is now much more common than Madred's Razer or Wriggle's Lantern (probably due at least slightly to change in preference of jungle champions) but also because the upgrades have become even more efficient. Spirit of the Ancient Golem now is seeing its glory day. Gambit's Jungler, Diamondprox, set the jungling meta of Volibear and Nasus, two champions that NA was a little slow to pick up. Overall, the LCS has helped NA junglers to catch up to the other regions in terms of dealing with 2v1 lane pressure and contesting objectives. NeoIllusions: If there was one thing you could change about yourself or your team that could have improved your chances in the Summer Promotion, what would it have been? coL Lautemortis: If I had one thing to change I would have not invaded in our last game of the season against MRN, where we gave 2 kills to Nientonsoh's Twitch at level 1. This set the basis for the match to snowball in their favor and sent us to the number 8 spot in the LCS. I fully believe we would have beaten Velocity for a spot in the LCS (no disrespect towards them, we had 10 weeks in the most competitive league in NA, so we should have the advantage). NeoIllusions: About compLexity, you guys were one of the very first teams to settle into a team house. I recall players from other teams, such as Crumbz from Dignitas, cohabiting with coL before Dignitas got their own house. What does coL have in store in the future? coL Lautemortis: Yeah we've housed a few players from other teams because we were so quick to get setup. In the future we plan on staying together as a team for right now. We haven't talked at length about long term plans, but I think for right now we're all hesitant to hang up the keyboards because we all know we still have a chance to be one of the best teams in NA. NeoIllusions: Lastly, what is your single best memory of NA LCS? coL Lautemortis: Best memory of NA LCS was our victory against Dig at MLG Dallas where Dig came in on a 3 week winning streak. It was definitely an amazing feeling not only beating the best team in NA at the time but also having the crowd cheering and rooting you on was unbelievable! I don't think I'll ever forget that feeling as a player. NeoIllusions: Thanks for your time Lautemortis. Do you have any final words? Shoutouts? coL Lautemortis: Shoutouts to CompLexity for continuing to sponsor us, as well as Soundblaster, Newegg, Origin, QPad, and PNY for all the awesome opportunities they've given us to succeed. Lastly, thanks to all our fans who continue to uplift and support us after our demoralizing exit from the LCS, we will definitely strive to make you guys proud <3 You can follow Lautemortis on Twitter @coL_Lautemortis -- be sure to support him and compLexity as they participate in tournaments this summer!

I'd give Sivir the edge because I see her played more and that's usually a pretty strong indicator that they're better. I also feel like she wrecks teamfights slightly harder because your positioning isn't so fragile. Hmm, no. How often you see a champion has more to do with ease to play. Anivia is hands down the strongest caster in the game (yes, stronger than Kass imo) but we don't see Anivia catching up because she has a high skill ceiling. Wall is very complicated apparently. ![]() Back to DPS, Sivir is mad stupid because she just stands there and autos. But even so, Corki is still much better. Q brings a blind. E shreds armor. W allows Corki to chase/retreat better than Sivir. Much more faceted than a champion that autos and leeches life.

I'm not sure if this will make Normal/Ranked games better or worse.

I mean if you wanna talk about champs with higher skill ceilings there's ezzy too but like... sivir is just too good. Also FWIW I see Anivia in 2/3 my games. Her and Sion need to be picked more. Really I just tend to go by what I see in games and it's the same reason I think Annie's no good. She's obviously got a great set of skills that are very useful in fights and she basically wins her lane but she's not picked often because there are better options. That's the only real reason that I can think of. Also there's that point in a game where Sivir just can't be killed and Corki doesn't have that =P.

You'd think they would just add them to custom games instead of making a whole other queue for this. I wonder whether people will grind these bots all day and then join normal/ranked games and try the same strategies and fail horribly.

(Auto Attacks out range Heimerdingers turrets, fuck yeah) early boots, and micro, and your auto attack is probably longest next to kog maybe? Vlad couldn't Harass with Q cause i could shoot and skoot my way back to turret. if cait is really that low, then im a fucking badass with how ive been doing, or atleast ur opinion matters less than my skill.

Game sense and teamwork matters more at low elo (read: anyone not on the TL top 10 list) than the character you use and item choices you make.

Her ult is only good if you're winning fights. She needs a team to protect her as even one CC on her destroys her. Her dmg output past early game is negligeble. This is what someone told me. Forgot who it was. I also personally think her escape is crap and is better off as a nuke. But I always use her escape the wrong way. Also, wise words from ghen. If you're good with a champion, then you can stomp any1 worse than you.
