Hell, they could find a forum, clue in everybody on it, post the "winning vote" for different people, and system is broken. They instead need to make the player in question anonymous or give him a randomly generated pseudonym. Considering that which report you get to judge is random and there are 10,000+ reports every day, in order for people to game the system correctly they'd need a whole database of report information that's easily searched. I understand the worry but I don't think it's the kind of thing where one person can post the information somewhere and immediately break that particular tribunal without a searchable database behind it. Also, it depends on how hard the cases are to judge. If for the most part it's "easy" to get the "right" answer then the majority of jurists will find it easier to follow the system rather than game it, unless they're trying to use some kind of botnet to skew the results to get themselves free IP.

My prediction is that people that get picked for this is going to open the ticket up afk for 60 seconds then vote guilty (Because people on the Internet are complete bastards, so naturally the largest chance of getting IP doing no work is to press the guilty button). Giving tons of people grievance for the slightest of transgresions.

I'm not too worried about people trying to game the system by constantly voting "Punish". It'll be pathetically easy for Riot to track that sort of stupidity. They'll be reviewing any cases with severe penalties anyway, and if the judges voted erroneously in an obvious way Riot won't think twice about removing them from the system. The possible group think and subjective opinions on what is punishable and pardonable worry me more.

I think everyone's opinion is subjective, but with enough votes it becomes a collective opinion, which is what democracy is all about? lol

People that only want to use it for IP will be weeded out. Their judgements won't be in line with the rest of the players and they won't get as many points that way. Also, people who just want to grief will get tired of it easily. No, the only ones who will consistently use it will be those with a high sense of morals and feeling to make the game better I suspect.

It seems like, anytime I open his stream the chat is full of him raging at someone.

The one problem I have with the tribunal system is it actually shows you the names of the people you're judging. That just seems like completely worthless information for the judge.

I think the main deterrent for changing the names is that sometimes in the chat logs some names will be mentioned and it could be important to know who those names are referring to. Now of course you could change the names in the chat logs too, but doing that with an automated process and accounting for nicknames, shortened names, and misspellings would be tough and innaccurate, so I understand why they would just leave the names on there. I think one of the most important things they can do to keep it impartial is to have people judging others out of their own elo bracket, as that would cut out most of the bad blood that would make for biased judging, though of course you have e-celebs who will get undeserved hate/love.
