I think that the system will be pretty awkward at first, but if Riot is vigilant about giving bad judges the boot, there are presumably enough reasonable people in the community that would want to do this that they'll eventually end up with the majority of the judging positions. The system still breaks down in cases where someone has to judge a known name (because people who are fair normally might still be assholes when its Hotshot or Reginald), but it should be fairly easy for Riot to find the people who are just being vindictive assholes to everyone. It basically scales down the group of people that Riot has to monitor--instead of having to judge the entire playerbase themselves, they just judge the judges. Obviously if they just blindly pick judges and don't monitor their voting, this will suck, but that's hopefully not what they're doing. At the very least, it's an experiment worth trying for a few weeks. | ||

i do agree that summoner name can be unnecessarily influential in a case (aka any namedrop), but at the same time, they will probably use chat logs as evidence, which means that the summoner name will be the only way to identify the perpetrator. | ||

Thank you for your concerns TL LOL'ers. =) The article stats that if somebody is just randomly clicks the ban button, or is just randomly spamming quickly to get through tickets as fast as possible, we get alerts on our end. The people who judge the most, get our most scrutinizing eye. If you spam, you're banned. If you take the time and have good judgement, you will be rewarded IMMENSELY. We'll be keeping an eye on things, if you're honest, we'll reward you. If you're bullshitting us, you may get away with it for awhile (if at all), but when we find out. You'll be in trouble. Hope that clears some things up. | ||

They are releasing Renekton in a state that is about x10 times better then when Xin Zhao was released at Season 1. Just to get you an idea on how OP he is right now in playtests. | ||
