I just want to know, what factors affect your solo queue points? Is it just depends purely on win/loss and the points of your opponents/teammates? cos sometimes I know my team is going to lose, will is make my points drop less if I tried to continue to play my hardest, or is it ok just to slow down and await the enviable loss.
Also is it true that a surrender make your points drop more? The elo won/lost is entirely dependent on the elo of one side vs the other. If you continue to play your hardest even if it looks hopeless, yeah, you'll get more elo because you'll win games you would have lost otherwise :p Surrendering does not affect elo. Queue dodging however counts as a loss and a leave, iirc. Im asking cos Im currently in what many call "Elo hell". (though I don't really believe in it, since I rarely encounter feeders and people who are afk) Last night there was a game in which one guy went afk, because some other guy chose akali, then another one went afk after being 0-4. Chances of winning 3v5 is nearly zero but i still tried my hardest and ended the game with a respectable 4-3, so i guess now there is little to be gained by trying your hardest (in ELO terms) except a good feeling that you were the best players on your team int he end, just to clarify, being 0-8 or 8-0 will have no effect on my ELO if the overall result is the same right? Also what are some good sites fro champion guide/builds, the TL lol subforum is good, but im looking for some alternatives, a friend suggested leaguecraft.com, any good? I wish I got a good feeling from being the best player on the team... Instead, it makes me feel even worse when I am doing well but my team makes it impossible for me to carry the game. Aside from ending the game with a win or a loss, you have NO INFLUENCE on your elo gain/loss. There are no good alternatives to TL for guides. In the rare case that someone posts a good guide elsewhere, someone will link it to TL anyways.
About gaining more elo, if a 1800 would dual queue with a 1200 wouldn't the 1200 always get way more elo than if he would just play solo q?
Nothing beats feeling like the best player when it actually makes your team win. Carried a fucking 1-13 swain that refused to play support in champ selection ("Let me mid, trust me, yo!") by managing to somehow not die for 35 minutes as Caitlynn against a fed Brand/Shaco. Fuck yes.

I've been trying to get to summoner level 20 and most of my games are as jungle ww. I like the champion and hes incredibly easy to jungle with which I wanted because every person in this game wants to solo and it is advantageous to the team.
It gets so fucking frustrating though when some retarded noob who cannot hold his lane usually someone who demands solo with a bogus champion, turns the majority of the team against me and shit talks/criticizes every thing I do because I am an excuse for them to suck. It's fucking impossible and I've played ww enough to know that it can turn risky if you're ganking before level 6, but the masses that play this game don't and love to blame others at a gray screen.
Also playing conservative in general constantly gets retard diving droolers blaming me for their deaths. I probably shouldn't jungle until I play higher level games but it feels like the team is weaker without and I want the wins. ...but yea this game is really hard sorry you had to read this rant Tbh, it seems like you have an attitude problem here, if the entire team turns against it's mostly because you are being an asshole to the weaker member of the teams. Are you sure you're not just flaming your heart out because a level 12 can't manage to keep his 2vs1 solo lane? And not ganking before level 6 is really bad, yes even at those levels. One of the easier ways to lose a game is to start arguing with your teammates creating a bad mood. There are games where your champion select simply won't let you jungle in 2 vs 1 situation, as you said "bogus" champions just can not be expected to hold that lane and then you simply need to Lanewick.
I do have an attitude problem here, but just about every person I've met in a losing game does as well. I do happen to turn into an asshole when people treat me like one. I can very easily turn an entire team against me but it isn't until someone makes a retarded comment to me that I feel obliged to do so. As I've said I constantly get advice from people worse than me ( I don't assume this I am just listening to what they say, watching what they do ).
For some reason the entity that is me cannot possibly say "ok" to some noob who decides they need to lecture me about my champion. I'd rather take the opportunity to explain to the person why their opinion doesn't matter to me and the things they should do to improve.
It seems like I am an asshole in these posts, but if you were in these games and given the context I think you would see my point. Nobody wants to be blamed for the loss of 5 people in a 50 minute game. If you mess up in your lane you may get some annoying comments, but people don't tend to blame the entire game on you. I mean...I played a game where I was suppose to be jungling, top, bot, mid, at dragon, warding, killing enemy carries, denying creeps, supporting team. Those are all awesome things and I love doing them, but not all at once. It's like people think certain champions can instantly teleport across the map in their reasoning.
I'm very aware that certain champions cannot 1v2.. this would be the first lane I'd visit, since my major reasoning behind ganking a lane is to relieve pressure off my teammates in the lane. Many times I have visited a lane...the guy gets away...teammate only sees the negativeness.. who cares that I just made that dude go to fountain and pop his summoners....I should have killed him for you I'm so sorry what an awful ww.
I also do gank before I am level 6 ofc It just isn't very effective. Most of the time before 6 I go for pokes basically where I'm just assuming they will get away but by using summoners. Once I am 6 everything changes because I can fight champions that are much stronger than me. Champions often are much stronger than me as well since my jungle is pretty terrible.
Even with no runes, slow jungle, bad gank abilities before 6 I still feel like my ww is providing a lot to the teams I'm on. Whenever I play without a jungler I just watch blue and red buff sit there and it makes my dick hurt a lot.
Feel free to criticize the way I build him (I can handle criticism when it makes sense and it's main purpose isn't to insult me rather than informing me)...
Start with cloth armor, ward, red pots
I usually donno if I should buy boots or longsword first because I need the boots for ganking and need the sword for faster jungling which is a serious issue it seems.
Get wriggles (use to save for madreds but I dont like how expensive it is making me too weak for most of the game) may as well ask this here...does anyone if wriggles can stop something like blitzcrank from pulling me if i drop it in our path?
been going boots of mobility a lot but it's mostly for fun if I was against a good team Id prob go for merc treads
....I always buy the hp crystal ability cooldown reduction item for spirit visage and finish that at any point I feel during the game.
At this point I ask myself will I survive a mass team fight initiation and usually the answer will be no so I stack more survivability by rushing for the hp belt that gives frozen mallet but I don't complete it immediately.
Even though ww should be a tank I think that if you can get his R to do some nice dmg like bringing someone to 20% hp it makes the spell almost entirely different than compared to if it was weak from you stacking pure tank. If someone gets to 20% hp after you R them in a team fight they almost will certainly run and just take themselves out of the fight for the most part assuming your team doesn't finish them off.
To increase my dmg I have been looking at whits end/malady.
The main goal is to become so incredibly tanky that you can walk into opponents without any fear. I like this playstyle because ww turns from a ganker/assasin type into a straight up tank throughout the course of the game. And since he's a pretty kickass initiator(another reason I chose him) a lot of the times you are the first target for the enemies giving noobs a marvelous opportunity to fuck up.

Matchmaking goes upside down if you do that and chances are that this 1200 elo player can't compete with the enemies you get thrown against. You have to expect enemies 100 elo above the higher of you two.
I don't know for sure, but I would expect that the lower rated player in a duo Q gains more and loses less.

At low levels, noobs often associate not getting kills during a gank with failing. That's not true. As long as you make them go to fountain or blow summoners, you're somewhat successful. Unless of course, it was an incredibly easy kill that you messed up. Say they had no summoners, no innate escape or cc, completely overextended, with 50% hp or something. Then, yea, you fucked up. But majority of the time, simply your continued presence and pressure is good enough. Once you get higher elo, people start understanding that.
Wriggles no longer stops Blitz's pulls. It's a good item, and you should get it anyways tho. More survivability =/= More HP. Generally, getting resists items like chain vest and negatron gives you much more survivability for your gold.
Kindlegem (the hp crystal thing) is good and spirit visage is also good. Frozen mallet is bad. I have no idea why so many people think it's good on WW. The AD from it is neglible; HP while nice, is inferior to resists since you have very high effective HP anyways from your Q's retarded heal. Don't get frozen mallet. If you really want that giant's belt, turn it into sunfire instead imo. Wit's end is good. Instant max stacks on the magic resist is boss and the extra 42 magic damage is good too. Malady is bad and worthless on WW (could be situational, but still inferior to other options imo). The AP is worthless. Aspd is okay, but in fights not very useful for WW. The passive is not that good, but not worth the item slot/gold. It used to be kinda popular in conjunction with Bloodrazor, but Bloodrazor warwicks are getting more rare and tankwicks are getting more common and are generally more useful/stronger throughout the game. Don't get it on WW. Only item you want that does damage is Bloodrazor and Wit's End and Bloodrazor is only a situational luxury item. Do not ever get any other DPS items on WW unless you're trolling.

As long as you try to win arguments over the interwebz you won't gain elo.
Learn to be confident enough in your ability to do the right thing that you don't feel the need to justify yourself in front of complete strangers.
Stop putting energy into arguing, focus that energy in doing well. Or just start trolling the shit out of that single dude and get the team in your favor. He might just go afk at low elo tho. =P
Edit: Thank you TL for being there when theres a one hour long queue. <3

No, really bad people do that. Its those kind of people that allready play for a while and watched a competetive match once but are too braindead to realize everything is situational. They write on the forums about elo hell and ingame flame anything that sticks out so that they dont have to realize that they are just bad. I had games where i jungled and even ganked at lvl 2, but the lanes keep dying anyways and i have to run around the map all day to cover the towers so they dont explode 10 minutes into the game and then suddenly i have my whole team yelling at me for being a bad jungler and never ganking. Or once i ganked right after redbuff and got first blood and doublekill for bot lane and 3 minutes later they complain that i leave them alone too much and that i need to gank more. People think mid lane and jungle are their babysitters and if they did something bad, its obviously the babysitters fault for not preventing it. We all know this isn't the case because if it was the other team would have the exact same issues. From what you've said you've allready shown that there are things you don't know about the game that is pretty basic aswell as jungling without runes which is really bad. If you just want to vent on specific teammates do so in the QQ thread, but don't pretend that all matches you lose is because of this . I'd love to just sit here and go "Yea everyone else is retarded" but I know that isn't the truth.
uuhhh I think you're confusing this poster with me because this man didn't say anything about jungling without runes. I'm not sure why it's hard for you to understand that certain people in this game who are ignorant of the game, actually blame junglers when it is not their fault. The thing about teams having the exact same problem doesn't really make sense at all to me. Especially considering that the only real time anyone speaks up is when they are losing. which means the enemy is winning and having a great fucking time having the exact opposite reaction.
If you want to vent on people's posts do so, but at least read them ?_?

If nobody talks on your team then take that chance: Become the leader of your team and carry them to victory. The enter key is ridiculously overpowered. If you can get your team to work together BEFORE anyone starts dropping insults you're a giant step closer to victory.

Start with cloth armor, ward, red pots I usually donno if I should buy boots or longsword first because I need the boots for ganking and need the sword for faster jungling which is a serious issue it seems. Get wriggles (use to save for madreds but I dont like how expensive it is making me too weak for most of the game) may as well ask this here...does anyone if wriggles can stop something like blitzcrank from pulling me if i drop it in our path? been going boots of mobility a lot but it's mostly for fun if I was against a good team Id prob go for merc treads ....I always buy the hp crystal ability cooldown reduction item for spirit visage and finish that at any point I feel during the game.
I personally liked frozen mallet because I could carry games with it in this noob setting. It was also an item I always got with madreds and basically I found the two to work incredibly well off each other. Tanks would get cocky and walk a little too far...snared and losing 4% hp every attack they were fucked. I know that the higher level you go madreds and mallet both lose their appeal. I dropped madreds and I guess it makes sense to drop mallet, only reason I didn't was because I thought it was good survivability added to utility. I really love whits end on him though because of its effectiveness and cheapness...
as far as tank items for ww go, any suggestions here? I played one game where I decided to get a force of nature/quicksilversash(trying the sash, really seems amazing actually...maybe not on ww, but just in general) but I was like immune to magic and fast as fuck it felt pretty amazing. I'm guessing it's pretty safe to say banshees is way better than the sash. but any thoughts on force of nature or guardian angel or just good tank items on ww besides visage? I guess boots are situational but is there another option beside merc treads? I was wondering if cooldown reduc boots would be acceptable for ww.

Tank items, for all tanky characters, are situational. So it's difficult to tell you what to get. You don't always need a ton of magic resist. You don't always need a ton of armor. You don't always need a lot of HP or Regen. My junglewick core is Wiggles, Merc/Ninja boots (depends), Wit's End, and Spirit Visage. It is rare that I'll need more MR than what this core build provides. From there I usually go with armor items, and these are totally situational. Frozen Heart for CDR and mana (say if someone else needs blue buff); Randuin's Omen to reduce opponent's movespeed (if there's lotsa kiting going on); Sunfire Cape to make myself a bigger target in teamfights. I never get Guardian's Angel, but that's mostly because I have a personal dislike for it that may not be entirely rational. Thornmail is another armor item I never get on WW, but I'm sure there's situations where it can help a ton. Some people like HP items like Warmogs and Frozen Mallet, but I'm not sold on them. I guess they're good if your opponent's have a lot of truedamage (vayne/cho), or if you can't trust your opinion on whether to focus on MR or Armor.
If you need another MR item, it should be Banshee's Veil, imo, because not only does it provide useful buffs to your health/mana and MR, but it will also help prevent you from getting stunned in the middle of your ult... something that Quicksilver Sash won't do.
That's my 2 cents anyway. There are better players here that should correct me if this advice is bad.

lol you carried each one too @_@

OP yo.
This one game I was hard carrying with Trist and took down two inhibs by myself. My teammates were doing very poorly. We lost the game because some jackass on the other team told his/her teammates to all buy Thorn mail. I kept killing myself each fight afterwards gg
Giving advice makes a huge difference, but also to remain calm and collective when things go wrong. Ingame raging is pointless, just vent at Shikyo QQ if you want to feel better after the game is over with.

For example...I have never agonized as much over a game as this one. The people in just about every game are egotistical maniacs irrelevant of their skill level. Usually the worst players are the most egotistical and most talkative I have observed though.
I have played so many fucking games where I am being instructed by noobs on how to play in their fantasy land of this game. I just got out of a game where I was apparently expected to gank all 3 lanes and clear our jungle without any runes.
+ Show Spoiler +I do have an attitude problem here, but just about every person I've met in a losing game does as well. Armor can be Sunfire if you're doing well early, Randuins, Frozen Heart are both good. Randuins has pretty good synergy with your ulti as it's a nice snare onto your target. Frozen Heart has nice CDR = more ults. Magic resistance FoN is a boss item, Banshees is nice if they have a lot of single-target CC. Wit's End should be core imo since it synergizes so well with your ulti and gives very cost-effective magic resist. Guardian Angel is nice since it acts as a reverse-taunt, especially in lower elos and is pretty nice all-around tank item. Aegis can be good if no one else is getting it, but it's not very high on your priority list imo.
Regarding pure HP items like Frozen Mallet and Warmogs. They can be good, but resists are simply more cost-effective. There's only really 2 commonly-seen sources of true damaging skills in this game. Cho's Feast and Vayne's silver bolts. Cho doesn't seem to be played that much in low elo and even then, Feast isn't all that big a threat. Vayne's silver bolts will kill you in X hits regardless of how much HP you have anyways.
Boots should almost always be Merc treads.

Yup my bad I simply asumed it was the same guy. And everyone accepts that there are idiots in the game that is why the QQ thread exists.

To champions: Corki's passive Olaf's E Irelia's w Twitch's passive poison Kogmaw's passive ignite red buff
All deal true damage.
Can reduce vayne's AS by frozen heart or randuin's passive which increases the time it takes for her silver bolts to kill you also.
