OCT 18, 2016: Punisher Arena

- Choose from one of three randomly selected Heroes before entering the Arena. Be quick about it though, you only have 30 seconds to choose!
- During each round, slay enemy Heroes and the enemy Punisher to earn points for your team. The first team to reach 100 points takes the round.
- Heroes are worth 4 points
- Punishers are worth 10 points
Be the first team to win 2 rounds and claim victory!

Seems fun for a while. I just hope it doesn't increase the waiting times for regular games due to the players being "divided".

Oct 28th 2016: Hammer Time This week’s brawl is Hammer Time! An explosive twist on a typical match, Hammer Time lets you call down the thunder and claim Belltowers on Towers of Doom with 10 Sgt. Hammers. Oh and by the way, Thrusters are permanently active for all players. Have fun!

- Queue up and battle it out on Towers of Doom with either Sgt. Doomhammer or Sgt. Hammer.
- The first team to claim enough Belltowers to destroy the enemy Core is victorious!

This brawl is basically TvT if tanks had yamoto canons and extra damage first strike shit.

The hammer brawl is amazing. So much fun playing positionaly. It is indeed the best of TvT.

As where I've played so many previous brawls, I have played 3 games of this one for reward and will stop there.
I don't have fun at all, games last for too long and people are horrible. Probably just my experience, but they keep suiciding into 2-3 sieged enemy Hammers, or keep pushing when objectives are up. Just had a game where one of my mates had 7k hero and 20k siege damage and 9 deaths in a game that lasted for 15+ minutes, I don't know how that is even possible. Other guy just went to one lane from start to the end, never came to objectives, just kept pushing that lane and had score 2-0-6... needless to say, I've lost all 3 games pretty convincingly where we did more than 10 damage to the core in just one game.
Unlike other brawls that finish fast and it is just mindless fighting near Punishers, this one lasts too long and is pretty much over after the first few minutes because Towers of Doom is the worst map for comebacks but you have to wait for 15 minutes death animation anyway... just poorly done imo.

hammer time pure troll mode with afk players and noobs who say: "les go all mid". No matchamking only random people with horrible brain. blizzard realy know how to destroy ther own games. I hope this modes comes from intern and not from payed people.

Guys... Get Advanced Napalm Strike.
Just think about TvT. Your opponent gets a nice fortified position with ONLY tanks. You need to move his tanks away. What can you do? Yes you need MULE bombard on his tanks. He has to unsiege and give up his position. Advanced Napalm does this exactly.

Great brawl. Easy to carry. Need/teaches all the fundamentals of a real game. I get these all mid/top/bot a lot. Just say 'no' and maybe add 'lets try to win'; proceed to win.
Special pro-tip: Don't take Hyper-Cooling Engines at 7.

People seriously take that? Ugh. The only thing I got wrong early on was using E instead of Z to unsiege (usually when shelling a fort). If you did this with a team of 5 I could imagine using the regular BFG to one shot an enemy Hammer by throwing all 5 at the same time. I still take napalm every game though.

k this brawl is really bad if you have a feeder. Still got it though won 3 v 1 xD

Had one game go till 20. All 5 of us had Orbital BFG in a lane that hit at least 2 forts with every shot. We just sat back and watched the show lol

This week’s brawl is Lost Cavern! It’s all random all the time on our single-lane battleground – Lost Cavern. Queue up, receive a random Hero, and try to best to bring down the enemy Core!

Let's see if I get Morales, Brightwing, Abathur, Nova, Murky again. Yes. I got that once in QM playing Abathur. Against Thrall, Tyrande, Illidan, Greymane, Valla. Guess how that went :D We had fun though. Copied a Brightwing and killed Valla with it. The whole team cheered. Somehow made it to the 20 minute mark. Shame on them.

November 11, 2016 Temple Arena

Rules:
Choose from one of three randomly selected Heroes before entering the Arena. Be quick about it though, you only have 30 seconds to choose! Everyone will begin the round at level 10 and will be asked to choose a Heroic Ability. No other talents will be available. During each round, slay the enemy team’s Heroes and capture the Temple Shrines to take shots at their Core!
- The Core for each team will have set amounts of health based on the number of active Shrines.
- Each round can have 1-3 active Shrines.
- The first team whose Core reaches 0 health will lose the round.
Be the first team to win 2 rounds and claim victory!
Rewards:
Complete three matches of the Temple Arena to earn 1,000 Gold and the following portrait:

Looks decent, similar to the first Brawl. At least you can have somewhat of a hero selection now.

Blackheart's Revenge November 18, 2016
Assist a salty revenge-fueled pirate in his other-worldly quest to destroy the docks, or send him to a watery grave with the aid of some spectral cannonballs. This week’s Heroes Brawl is Blackheart’s Revenge, and whichever side you're on, it’s sure to be an explosive match!

- Choose from one of three randomly selected Heroes before entering the Docks. Be quick about it though, you only have 30 seconds to choose!
- Everyone will begin the round at level 10 and will be asked to choose a Heroic Ability. No other talents will be available.
- You will either be placed on the Attacking or Defending team and will be responsible for aiding Blackheart in his quest for revenge, or preventing the destruction of the Docks
- Attackers will be responsible for preventing Defenders from firing Cannons at Blackheart’s ship
- If Blackheart reaches his target, your team wins!
- Defenders will gather Cannonballs and fire them at Blackheart’s ship via Cannons placed around the Battleground
- Fire 5 Cannonballs at Blackheart’s ship to secure victory!

This one is over very fast. And no rematch.

This week my second brawl match took 1 min 31 seconds. Yes 91 seconds. I had to wait more then the match.

This one isn't good at all. The attacking team has won 2 times in my 10 brawls. Defending is fun, but easy, attacking is too hard and punishing.
I guess they won't give out the winrates, but I think it's 70% winrate for defenders.

Yeah it looks like it's a lot easier to defend. Death are almost not punished unless everyone dies at the same time which just doesn't happen.

You have to be way to tactical for this. Kinda defeats the purpose of a "brawl"

December 2, 2016: Ghost Protocol
Lock and load, Heroes! Our newest Heroes Brawl mode is Ghost Protocol, an all-Nova snipe-battle on Towers of Doom. Be sure to practice your aim before heading into battle, because every shot counts in this game mode – Snipe not only instantly kills enemy Heroes, but it also reduces the enemy team’s Core health by 1! Think this is going to really pigeonhole the talent choice. Cloak speed, AoE snipe and snipe cooldown on hit talents will be must pick. Good Holo Decoy use is going to be critical. Looks fun though.

Most of my matches lasted to 10/11.
First few were over at 7/8, but as I played more people played more defensively and tactically. One time we had a fight at an objective for 3 or 4 minutes because its just a giant game of chicken to seen who would click the objective then die.
I find it's way easier to be good holy decoy for defense in this use and then punish people for mistakes in misses. Also channeling the objective for 2 seconds then running away almost always picks up someone trying to snipe you and then not canceling, giving you a free chance to kill them.

I'm sorry, what exact value are you getting out of the other level 7 skills? 100% of deaths I've seen have been snipe-related anyway.

The increased damage with less attack speed is probably the best. There are times where you catch someone out without snipe up and you can get a kill without it. Pinning shot -> few autos and you can kill someone. It's accounted for a small amount of kills (under 5 in all my matches), but every kill counts.

You're getting zero value out of Snipe Master by pure definition. It already insta-kills. Extra damage is not needed. And as for PvE, the bonus damage is gone when you hit something that isn't a Hero. And Snipe insta-kills Heroes. I still go for the 80% follow-up damage on auto-attacks. It's just a straight damage buff to anything that doesn't die to Snipe.

My point is that the marginal gains from other skills at this tier don't matter at all in this mode. The mode is all about snipes.

Rules
Choose from one of three randomly selected Mage Heroes before entering the battle on Tomb of the Spider Queen. Be quick about it though, you only have 30 seconds to choose!
- No talent or level restrictions
- Mana regeneration is increased by 50% for all Heroes
- All spells deal double damage to structures
- The first team to destroy the enemy Core wins!

ok first I thought "what the fuck is this" but then i played 2 games with Naz and Oh my god was that fun. I had about 240 stacks on voodoo and the lvl 20 talent makes this just ridiculous. Ofc all the spider talents because "Fuck Yeah"

As mentioned in the main thread, Naz rules this brawl. Superstition on 13 alone is massive. Add your higher health pool to that and self heal from spiders and you're solid. I do pick the range talent on 1 so I can poke more safely.

I thought Naz would be a trap first, but the real trap is Kael this brawl Imo. I played Jaina all the time, went bot lane got both towers and carried the exp advantage through the game.
I love playing Jaina, especially in Mage vs Mage, so this was fun. Got a few quad kills too when I had a Medivh supporting with good sneaky Portals.
But i got almost tempted to buy some Jaina skins lol.

I played only medivh in this brawl. In my last game we had 3 medivhs, 1 chromies and 1 nazeebro. Enemy was 2 kt, 2Minglee 1 naz..
We smashed them. invuls everywhere, portals everywhere... That was hilarious! The only problem was sometimes i have literally no idea which portal exit i will use after entering one.

I think multiple li mings is better than multiple chromies. Get force armor at lvl 1. Too many people go standard builds, but increased mana is already built in on this brawl, and there is no dive threat so the ideal builds for each hero change significantly.

Heh, imagine 5 Li-Mings going Calamity/max damage build. As soon as one hero dies they all get a reset. Eep.

This week’s brawl is the AzmoDUNK Brawl. Celebrate Heroes of the Dorm with the Lord of SLAM himself, by raining globes down on your enemies!
Rules:
Here comes the lord of SLAM!
- Everyone plays as Azmodunk!
AzmoDUNK!
- The only available Heroic Ability choice is Black Pool.
- Everyone starts with the Taste for Blood talent.
- All Taste for Blood stacks are shared amongst the rest of the team.
- Stacks build up damage by 3 instead of 2 for every minion killed.
- The cap on Taste for Blood damage is now 3000.
Be the first team to take down the enemy Core to claim victory!

Special Delivery 4/25/17

This week’s brawl is Special Delivery - Ten Tracers, 20 Pulse Pistols, two Cores, but only one victor! Battle it out on our newest Battleground, Hanamura, with a crazy set of custom rules.
Rules:
- Everyone is Tracer on our newest Battleground – Hanamura!
- Core Health and payload damage is quadrupled, including all empowered damage from destroying enemy fortifications.
- Killing an enemy Tracer deals one damage to that team’s Core, while killing blows from directly landing Pulse Bombs deal two.
- Pulse Bombs have no delay before exploding.
- All players start at Level 10 and have access to all talents.
- Tracer starts with the Total Recall level 20 talent.
- Capturing the boss deals 10 damage to the enemy core.
Rewards:
- Complete two matches of Special Delivery to earn a Rare Loot Chest!
