Everytime you think you experienced the worst kind of frustration something new appears.
Yesterday I play ranked, ~400 points into my rank. Draft starts and the game crashes (still in draft so game gets cancelled. I know because I was duo queueing)
I log in after the server update yesterday and find myself with 0 points and an upcomming demotion game.
I say to myself: "ok, this must be a mistkae so I'll just keep playing.." I do so and end up with someone feeding on purpose for 15 minutes so I get demoted.
400 points lost in the system for no reason? That's new for me!
On another note, did Blizzard soften their rules for muting and banning people from ranked? The last 10 games I played in HL were an insult fest I normally don't even experience in qm 
EDIT:
btw, the game didn't crash because of something with my connection. No, it crashed because they updated the game before the servers. There also was a hughe thread on reddit.

I start to hate the game more and more. Season started, I was in Silver 1, in a few weeks I ended up in Diamond 3. All of a sudden, everything breaks and I'm just constantly losing -> Back to Platinum 2. And It's not that I play worse. Today for example, I played 6 games:
2x: No stun on the opposite side, our ETC goes Stagedive
1x: I pick Malf, another guy picks Uther, stating "gonna go DPS-Uther"
1x: Abathur First pick who gets hardcountered like crazy and we lose again
1x: Bot from minute 0
That's just starting to get annoying. Once I'm in an upward/downward spirale, it just seems to not stop for weeks. Even if I stop playing for a few days, nothing changes xD

In my experience, if you have a down period, you then have one where the other team is the one with the problems and you win loads.

Stage Dive is very good, but if they don't have a ranged displacement / stun, fucking go Mosh Pit !!
DPS Uther deserves all the reports he got that game.
Abathur 1st pick can be a thing if you anticipate and counter the counters (like Nova 1st pick). But it's still bad.
Bot deserves his 4 AFK reports.
It's awful indeed, but don't forget it's the holidays in France, so lots of kids are playing even during the week. It ends this week I think.
Right now I manage to carry as Chen, even solo tank, but it's a trap hero. Win 2 games in a row, feel like Superman, play like trash until you lose 1 or 2 games. Win again. Rinse and repeat.

Recently it feels like my hopes of winning a game are inversely proportional to the number of ranged assassins/specialists in my team. Just had a dominating win where we had none. Before that, I had a game where someone countered Anub'arak/Kerrigan/Zeratul with another ranged damage. Of course he blamed the tank and healer for not keeping him alive.

Fuck me for not noticing this was coming, on BoE:
Zarya, ETC, Sylvanas, Auriel... Hammer.
After 5 minutes they were on our core (level 8 to 5). We lost in 9:15 after the second immortal. Our Greymane 1st pick was useless, but TBH this was a wonderful cheese, I don't want to point the finger at anyone. Invincible Hammer (Auriel + 2 warriors + Zarya shields) with Sylvanas disabling forts...

I've found BoE matches to usually end up as a landslide quite fast.
Either your team can focus and get the Immortal (and having the siege damage for it) or they don't and it just falls apart.
The other thing is that players tend to forget how long and dragged out the Immortal fights get and just burn through their mana. Or they get low on health and just don't fall back and get picked off. Ugh.

Holy shit did I play bad just now. Is there some kind of quick test I can do to see how well I am performing?
Because apparently I can't feel it.
Maybe some kind of logic puzzle that gives constant results?

I had 5 !!! (five) drafts in a row with more than 200 seconds queue time which were all cancelled!
I decided to play qm then out of desperation and guess what, the 5 heroes show before loading screen and I get back to heroselection cause someone left the game!
What's going on atm? Anyone else experiencing this?

I wouldn't recommend doing unranked at all. People can draft dodge without real penalty.
Except that I have no problem queuing for HL and QM.

Am I right that they changed the draft dodge punishment? A few weeks back you could dodge drafts without losing any ranked points (only leaver penalty). But if I am not completely mistaken, I lost 500-600 points a few days ago.
... I'm not saying that dodgning a draft is nice. I just did it to avoid idiotic (no tank/no heal) lineups. Still not nice, but I think the fact that you could just dodge a draft convinced people to pick the required roles, as the game would just never start if they didn't, because someone was dodgning the draft probably. For multiple weeks, I never had a leaver or an idiotic lineup.
... now they increased the punishment and at the same time they didn't increase the leaver punishment if you leave a game while it is in progress (afaik. I never left the game, but checked the history of someone who left a game and I could be mistaken, but I think he only lost the 200 points for a loss). Right now the people that don't wanna play a specific role just start a game and leave the game afterwards.
Since they seem to have implemented the increased Draft Dodge Penalty, I had multiple games where someone stated "oh, fuck it, I don't wanna tank, I'm going afk" -> started the game and we had a bot for the entire game, simply because leaving a game in progress is better than leaving the draft atm. And this, imo, is really stupid.

in dota there is a hidden "behaviour score" which is said to match griefers/etc with one another so maybe you got yours lowered

Pretty sure it's that. They didn't communicate on anything about leavers, be it unranked or HL. Which is why UR is a terrible mode BTW.
I think the people you play with now are just more stupid / toxic people than before.
Either way, a person who wants to spoil the fun for everyone by going AFK or feeding will do so regardless of the penalties, unless they are very heavy. But the good part is that person will do it more and more until he's wiped from ranked for months. I have this IRL friend of a friend who got silenced for 1 month after multiples small silences, and right after coming back still flames people, even in QM. Well, serves him right if he's banned 2 months next time.

Sigh. I hate few things more than losing a game you should've won because someone keeps throwing themselves at the enemy team. First game was on Towers of Doom. We're trading deaths but we keep getting the shrines in the end.
At one point its 28-8, though the enemy team has a bit of an XP lead. No worries I think, we can just trade shrines and win out that way.
At one point we get a bad engage and lose a teamfight. Enemy team gets the shrine, now 24-8.
Worse, they have 20 before we do. They obviously go for boss and suddenly our Medivh and Zarya start typing in Russian and Medivh endlessly pings the boss. I reply multiple times that we cannot contest it without 20 and all five present and we don't HAVE to. It's 24-8. We can take the 4 points and delay until we get 20. NOPE! WRONG!
Medivh bumrushes straight to the boss and convinces two teammates to go with him.
By the time I get there it's too late. The boss is taken, we lose teamfight massively again.
Enemy team takes forts and two more shrines. Now it's 12-8 and we have one fort left.
Rather than taking back the forts, Medivh just rushes into the midlane not helping.
Myself as Arthas and a friend are the only ones even bothering to take the forts back.
Just as we get the forts back the shrines come up, Medivh headrushes in again and the engage is once again terrible.
We lose the entire teamfight again, the shrine and the team takes all 3 forts and we bleed out points till game over.
Both Medivh and Zarya had utterly terrible random talent picks.
How we even got to 28-8 is beyond me. How we managed to throw it is beyond me even further.
Our Zarya had a grant total of 51k damage, lower than my 68k on Arthas and their Zarya had 120k.
Sigh.
Next game is on Garden of Terror. I'm playing Li-Ming hoping that being the damage dealer might work out better.
We do quite well, keeping somewhat of a talent advantage and we get keep advantage as well.
Then Hammer starts overextending and only proudly blurting out that her orbital BFG is killing the keeps.
Every time she is saying that, she is dead. As if it somehow compensates. This keeps happening and it keeps giving the enemy team a chance to come back. At one point we have 3 keeps and mid fort left. They have 0 keeps.
We both get a Terror and try to push core. Hammer dies again. Her Orbital BFG is bravely scraping the core shields to no effect. Enemy team pushes straight to a win with their Terror.
I just don't get how people can keep making the same mistakes over and over.
Overextending, getting themselves killed needlessly, going in a talent or a man down or just completely horrible random talents picks and outright refusing to stay with the team.
Hell, in a game on Tomb of the Spider Queen where I was Arthas with a Gul'Dan, Sylvanas, Auriel and Dehaka, I somehow ended up with top damage by a margin and died only once when a teamfight extended too far. The rest died 4-5 times and that was with my trying to peel like mad with my frost root, AoE slow and bodyblocking. If I can manage that on Arthas of all heroes, why are people still just throwing themselves on swords? How hard is it to not constantly die?
One thing learned to add a silver lining: Arthas shits over Samuro pretty hard.
His AoE attack speed slow on 13 really kills his damage, Arthas can be quite tanky when built for it and his root is quite solid. And he gets another root on 16.

I hate when some idiot makes others change picks for no reason. My friend and I take Tank + Healer (never do it unless the level is good BTW, it was a mistake), we have this guy who hovered on Nazeebo since start. Why not.
Then our 5th guy starts to ask him to take a melee hero, insists a lot, and says "maybe take Illidan" (Why the fuck Illidan you ask ? I don't even know), because he wants to be the spec.
That 5th guy doesn't select any hero the whole draft so we don't even know how to adapt to him.
In the end, Nazeebo gives in and takes Illidan, but even he doesn't know why. He admits in game he sucks with him and apologizes. WTF MAN. WE NEVER ASKED YOU TO THROW THE GAME. Ends with 8 death.
The 5th guy takes Gazlowe (why did he ask more melee if he picks Gaz...). Plays bad. Toxic. Manages to die alone on boss, at level 12, and to blame the whole team. We were busy defending mid fort 4v5 which was good since we basically were supposed to have a free boss while we delayed.
Russian KT flanker didn't help of course. Fun fact: KT as a flanker, versus Kerrigan, is utter trash. I want him in the back behind my ETC, where I can protect him.
LONG STORY SHORT: select heroes in draft, even if you're last pick, and above all don't boss people around, asking them to play this or that hero. You never know if this person is any good with him, even if it's the highest level on the list.

Battlefield of Eternity. Our team fails at the first immortal, so Dehaka starts raging. We still defend against their immortal easily, no forts lost, so no big deal. Second immortal is ours with 100% shields.
A few minutes later, we have both forts, the enemy has only keeps left, we're a level ahead. Dehaka is on the enemy side of the map near their Bruisers, Samuro is near him at the lane. Dehaka gets ganked and dies, pings Samuro repeatedly and complains about him not helping. Then Dehaka writes the words everyone hates to read "Now I feed". He starts running into the enemy keeps on every respawn.
We're still almost winning, but in the end the enemy gets a good 5v4 teamfight over the immortal and ends the game.
I was still happy that no one actually responded to his raging, everyone kept playing and trying to win without saying a word until our core was dead, which made that less bad than it could have been.
It still sucks to lose a won match because of a kid throwing a tantrum.

My main is stuck in this platinum shithole currently where people have no clue what the fuck they are doing and just throw the game repeatedly, flaming their entire team in the process.
Last picks that have no supps, people that pick Dehaka main tank against Illidan + Tychus, perpetual split pushers, mass flame when I pick Stage Dive...
People say MMR hell is not real, yet I have one relatively new account in Masters, and one old account that CANNOT get out of platinum for the life of me.

Once vs Butcher Chromie, once vs 5 heroes with stuns, once vs a ETC Tyrande pick that shared a clan tag in their name.
Obviously, the marginal healing talent is better than cleanse.
Proceed to freely flame your player whom you forced into warrior with 4 shitty picks the entire game because he gets wreckt by stunlocks.
