It suffers from Sylvanas distorting the gameplay on the map, and being way too strong in it (60% winrate in hero league on the map, in the top 2 skill brackets). Sylvanas forces teams to go defensive instead of trade, which leads to longer more drawn out games, or a quick win for the Sylvanas team. Basically this. The map is better overall, but Sylvanas breaks it due to her passive.

Sylvanas needs to be nerfed - too much utility/damage/mobility
|
I'm hardly an expert buy Sylvanas passive just looks broken as hell.

I wouldn't touch her damage. It really isn't that big. The real problem is her passive.
|
Her HP is pretty low.
I think people are getting used to her damage output, but I agree that it's fine. Specialists can do a lot of damage even if people keep thinking they don't/shouldn't (Zagara, Vikings, Hammer, etc).
Her passive might be problematic, but maybe it's a meta thing like how for a week people thought Azmodunk didn't offer any counter-play (until they figured it out).

I may have said this before or maybe I just thought it to myself, is LiLi the most boring hero to play by far for everyone else? All other heroes seem fun in some way but her...

I think they just need to remove black arrow triggering from basic abilities and it'll be better.
And yeah, lili is super boring, but she was designed to be that way, not "boring" but the noob friendly support.
|
Lili is awesome Healing Kung fu style ! The fun starts at level 20 though ... But a few Heroes have this, okay level 13/16 now we get to rock.
If you take the passive from the normal attacks or abilities, it is a huge nerf on Sylvanas. But I think they could add it to a talent that is PvE related. So a hero damage Sylvanas won't have it that easy to do merc camps. (Or stun forts because your team chases past a freaking fort >.>)
|
the passive just needs a small tweak imo, the stun should just come when the damage is dealt (for dagger) also I really hope they can balance out the cursed hollow slight more, it is soooooo snowball heavy

Seeing abathur, being the only one alive, getting 2 kills against 4 heroes in a pro game is pretty hilarious. Even if it wasn't in person.
Oh and kinda dislike that cloaked heroes are now harder to see when they are mounted, less blurr faster movement, since their bodys are more compact mounted. Might be just my imagination because they move faster and it will take time to adjust to faster moving blurr.

The only reason I don't find her boring is that because she's pretty good, and winning is fun to me.
|
She might be autopilot but the moment you want to hit specific targets positioning with her becomes really tough.
|
I've said it before in the thread, but I like that playing Li Li gives you the ability to watch the mini-map like a hawk, more so than with other characters. It really helps when you're calling out movements to your team.
|
I think Lili's design and pricing is actually pretty great for the game, because at lower levels in Hero League almost everybody owns her and can do decent as a healer, which makes for a lot less screwed up drafts than there would be otherwise.
|
I really enjoy Lili, it's my fave support by far. Maybe I'm just a noob, but she has the ability to quickly position around in the battle, getting up in their face to harass, then backing off once they focus you, and of course when you hit 20 with Kung Fu Hustle just going into overdrive with all the abilities feels pretty awesome. Plus if there's another support on the team I like to go for the Dragon ulti which is pretty fun to use - no better feeling than using it to mop up some fleeing assassin.

I just had the closest match in any game in my entire life :D
We were batteling on Haunted Mines for 45 minutes and we won during the animation of the golem which would have killed us! The animation actually finished while we where declared victorious...

Anyone else got the feel that if the enemy team got the first two tributes you might aswell GG right there? Becuase in the third tribute they will get to lvl ten before you because they surely killed you on the first two tributes, and lvl ten happens right when the third tribute spawns?
Also, do you think they will reset the ranks when the game is released? I'm not a fan of seasons, but they have said they will do them.

You don't need to die when fighting for a tribute. Your team needs to assess the situation and take the best course of action (sometimes things don't go as planned sure) and sometimes giving up a tribute to avoid getting the entire team murdered and surrender a huge lead to the other team is an important decision to make.
Nevertheless, from my experience, the situation you described does not equal auto loss.
|
If all 5 enemy heroes at gathering tribute, your team can be soaking exp in the lanes and taking camps simultaneously, which, if anything, gets you to level 10 a lot faster as well.
|
I guess he meant, when you lost the 5v5 at the 2 tributes before. Its really no reason to gg though. Some heroes start to get good post 13 etc. In QM it is probably a hard situation, because your team will try to contest it. But otherwise you can simple get mercs and defend and the curse does nothing, because the opposing heroes won't deal much damage vs buildings at that early stage.
Tributes can be really tricky and they need real communication. Because there can be situations where its better to stay in lane instead of rushing for the objective. But that is true on all maps.
I would rather gg on mines when you win your lane and kill a few opponents and then 2 players go of the the right.
Also wtf that replay lol.
