Add yourself in the TL Player list if you want to play with TL people, and /join teamliquid channel ingame. Also check out the new Heroes Liquipedia.

In Mines if you win the fight down there get the small skulls tp out before they are back to heal up and go in again if they went for the golem it will be easy. It is important to heal up before an objective, and it is especially important at the beginning. Healwards help though, especially in mines.

Long death timers at the start would enable Nova to snowball the match in the first minutes really often, since its really easy for her to get a kill. And they might even be able to push a lane to the towers and make you lose exp.

It's even worse when the objectives have ALREADY spawned!!


A very common scenario:

*** We lose a player while trying to disengage ***

This sounds like this should all be in the QQ thread, but yeah it's very frustrating when your team mates have no idea about when it is a good time to push or go for objectives

Well it's not a QQ, really. We were addressing the statement that winning a fight pre-Golem gains no advantage, and thus, early death timers should be lengthened.

My point is that there is a clear advantage. However, players are not thinking strategically and end up confusing their actual advantage (a small window of time) for something that it isn't (free Golem). Although, you can often convert that time window into a Golem, you aren't guaranteed the Golem if you go straight for it, especially if your team is very low on health and mana.

The game is still not very well understood by most players, so it is certainly not QQ to point that out and discuss strategy.

To be fair, although this game is still developing, the whole "let's get super greedy and try for the fast win" thing is prevalent everywhere. It's the same in League and Smite (and I'm sure all other MOBAs) - people get overconfident and don't take all the variables into account.

Just when i thought i wouldn't spend more money into this game...

About the mines, in the first mines i think it is worth it to jsut spread out and get skulls, doesn't matter if you die. Then, depending on if a lot of you die, how many enemies died, and how many skulls are left and how many skulls you got, it may or may not be worth it to go for the golem (when your team mate(s) respawn).

Of course, spreading out is not really an option at the later mines.

Would a General Mode ever work, where a sixth player was added to the game who does not control a Hero. The General's role would be to make calls and direct their individual teams around the map.

Has something like this ever been implemented? Would this even be enjoyable for the general viewer? I know I'd love watching it, but then again, I love everything about this game. haha

i wonder how much this would increase the flame potential for the whole game. especially when people are of different skill level. i just had a game where it was clear that the enemy was going for golem on BHB but 2 went to the bruisers instead of contesting.
I'm super mad, but i could imagine people dont like being told to stop their creeping.

Yeah, this probably wouldn't work too well with public games. However, at the highest levels of play, ex. in a Team League or Tournament, it would be fascinating to watch 2 minds duke it out, while their teammates execute the orders.

Also, if a player purposely queues for "General Mode", then they should be expected to at least understand that there's a General on the field. If they want to just play a standard game, they could have chosen Quick Match or Hero League.

Also small question, during teamfight do any of you manage to get 60FPS ? I have a good rig but yet i always go to 40 during big teamfights :'( asked a friend of mine and he got the same ( he has a bigger rig than me ).
Considering the engine is very similar to SC2 this does not surprise (ie its bad) me but i just wanna be sure.

I think I would prefer a 1v1 mode where you control 5 heroes.
