I dont have any specialists and i have almost 10k gold and thought to buy Nazeebo (only specialist that i like playing).
But with the closed beta so close and Thrall seems a beast, don't know if i should buy Nazeebo or wait for Thrall?
Im not going to spend any money because Blizzard seems to like to have higher prices in EU and lower in Us for the same items, heroes and with the recent prices (only EU seems to get an increase on price, we already pay more for the same things because the Euro value is more compared to the dollar, VAT excluded) im not going to spend any Euros on the game for now.
Should i wait for Thrall (already have Zeratul, as meele assasin) or should i buy Nazeebo, because i dont have any specialist? You'll need 15k for Thrall at release, so I think that makes the choice fairly clear.

Where can i find that miracle?
10k, 2 weeks?!!!
It takes at least 1 month or more if don't do all the quests.

Well beta doesn't start for another week so you have three. If you intend to invest no money in the game and you aren't doing quests then you aren't very smart. The quests are where the majority of the income comes from unless you're playing tens of games per day.

The price increase on EU is ridiculous. It's actually incredibly greedy.
I didn't think Blizzard was the type of company who'd do the whole "$1=€1" non-sense.
Not playing this anymore.

You know there is a life outside gaming?!!!
At least i hope you do know it.
Kids, dogs, all that things that came up are much more important than a simple videogame.
Its not a question if im smart or or not, its a question that sometimes i don't have the time to do it all.
If you got 400 gold per average per day (average maybe is closer to 250 gold, only quests) its 2800 gold per week, almost 5 weeks!
No matter what for now im not going to give any more money to Blizzard!!
Greedy fuckers like to charge more on EU then in any other place in earth, there are a lot of countries in Europe where not everybody has a monthly wager as big as the one's on switzerland or germany.
There are some countries (most of them) that the price of an hero (or skin, not even an hero) is 1/3 of the month paycheck that people receive for their work.

I dislike the price increase as everyone else, but that only means that I'm going to stay F2P (sort of, I bought the starter bundle).
Yeah the gold gain rate is bad (should be 20-30% higher IMHO), but it's still enough to enjoy the game as long as you don't care to have every hero. I managed to gather around 60k gold thus far (Tassadar + Tychus + 50k unspent) and between my savings and the weekly rotations I don't feel limited at all... I mean, I played Zeratul up to level 10 and I've yet to buy him.

they are just responding to exhange rates. They want to have nice prices like 8.99 etc. so it makes sense they go for 1:1 conversion since the going rate is heading that way.

I'm pretty sure that there's no country in europe where people work for 30 euros a month.
But yeah I haven't felt like spending money on this beyond the 4 euros I dropped on the pack that got me 3 heroes since I'm making do with gold just fine so far. However If one wants to go competitive in a short amount of time then you might have to drop a lot of money in the game.

Yeah, I was like where the fuck do people get paid 30 euros a month :O But prices are pretty high indeed, I dont now how much a hero costs in LoL as I'm coming from Dota 2, but if prices are similar then I totally understand why Blizz would do it that way.

Imho the biggest mistake of Blizzard is using the actual currency values instead of some sort of points you can buy, of course it's the same price in the end, but from a psychological point of view "950 BlizzPoints" always seems less

seriously, it rises by about 4% over a month and you extrapolate that to say it's going to be 1:1 soon??

guys, blizzard has turned to crap, accept it and move on. Let them rot in their corporate stinkhole. After D3, HotS, they are greedy money grubbing shits. Turning into EA, who somehow manage to turn every franchise they buy into shit (only blizz is doing it to their own franchises).
and btw guys, it is possible to have a happy life with children, waifu and games. Don't lose your inner child, or you will die sour.

Nahh you are mixing everything up.
The game itself is pretty good, it is fun to play, fast paced, playing with blizzard heroes is awesome.
The business model is obviously HORRIBLE and no one in their right mind should pay 10€ for a hero (DON'T DO IT). But you can still enjoy the game without paying, f2p heroes change every week, and you gain gold with dailies, games, and lvl 5 500g unlocks to buy the heroes you really like and want to play any-time. Honestly who plays 30+ heroes regularly anyway ?
To reiterate, the game is good don't hate it, blizzard did a good job on that point. YES they are greedy as fuck and it WILL backfire but who cares since you can play for free. They may even decrease the prices if no one buys anything.

They've also announced weekly sales

as someone who never played mobas, but has tried watching them and was never ever attracted, i was really looking forward to Heroes for several reasons. it would be the game that i could play with my real life friends/gf/family, because at its core its easy enough for everyone to understand, yet can be played competitively (which was gonna be important only for me, but still).
shared xp, team oriented play, simple objectives, easy talent builds, heroes we know and love... this game has it all. so if the game is aiming at the casual-est crowd out there, it hits the jackpot. i have no doubt it will be a success. if it can overtake dota i am not sure, but it will be up there for sure. for this new-age blizzard, even that is an accomplishment .
one thing to note about Heroes on twitch -- before i played it i could not force myself to watch it. right now (got alpha 2 weeks ago), i am finding myself tuning in to grubby even if big sc2 streams are online. i cant explain it for the life of me.
only objection i have with the game is gold-gain. i dont mind its slow, i like unlocking things, and 7 heroes in rotation is really a lot. what i hate is that game forces me to level those heroes (cuz i want dem moneyz) on my ranked ladder -- so i go from big losing streaks when leveling to big winning streaks when playing heroes i like. i though after sc2 they would bloody learn why ranked/unranked is important.
also, why the puck would you not make heroes more expensive, but have every game reward 100 gold or so. when i earn 20 gold after a loss i feel depressed, a coin for a minute of my time. its sad and its not supposed to be. oh and one more thing, even when i consider buying a skin, fact that the price is in euros and not some made-up currency is really, really turning me off. i dont want my brain to know exactly how much it is willing to spend for something as trivial as an animated horse.
finally, i know blizzard thinks highly of themselves, but after sc2 and d3 i really cant shake this impression they are putting out lazy, overpriced products out there, and this obnoxiously limited amount of heroes available is really not helping their cause. instead of making every hero so expensive, why not make (A LOT) more heroes, so that unlocking progression is the same, but there is a lot more diversity. if they wanna immerse us in their universe, it would help if every game didnt have 2 novas, 2 raynors, etc.

there is some mathematical model done by Riot that shows that like 80-90% of a F2P game player base doesn't spend a single cent on the game, so in order to make a profit they have to increase the price so the hardcore 10-20% fanboys that is willing to spend $$ can keep the project afloat, even at the cost of absurd high prices decreasing the overall player base. Eh, I wouldn't stress out on levelling the heroes to 5. There are 32 heroes in this game, if you got 500 gold for all of them that's only 16k so enough to buy 1 new hero first week, 1 1/2 if we're going off their 10k values.
