I think more specialized Heroes, more focus on map control. More skirmishes and less full team battles. I feel like those should be avoided most of the time, but that is not how it is atm. This could make the game more tactics and strategy focused, not making micro any easier (but maybe a little less important). I guess it can be less exciting for most of the audience? But im sure i would enjoy it much more. For example, in Garden of Terror the shamblers (and thus seeds) could be spread out more. Suddenly if the stream of creeps moves toward the nexus you "lose" a shambler spawn point (its not safe anymore without structures protecting and in enemy vision provided by creeps). Even removing the terror (the one that you kill for seeds) and making the night never ending, could be an additional positive change. | ||

And no, in DOTA2 you can definitely spam some of the more mana expensive spells with bottle crowing, and some heroes have innately mana cheap spells they can spam even without bottles (sticky nalpam, quill spray, nasal goo etc.) It's important to have both high-impact, expensive spells as well as low-impact spammy spells in a game to create interesting game dynamic and spectating experience. When all you have are low-impact, spammy spells, the game might b fun to play, but definitely not fun to watch. | ||

I got an invite about a month ago, but was too focused on Dawngate and the upcoming Borderlands presequel to play. Now DG is going down and I'm waiting for DLC for the presequel, thought I'd finally give it a try. | ||

Even Tassadar and the ranged specialists (Zagara and Nazeebo come to mind) can fit the bill for being glass cannons. | ||

It's quite simple and the talent system feels intuitive and you don't feel the urge to look up item guides. This is also exactly why I like talen-system better than items. | ||

i think we're in for a paid closed beta test via a "founders pack".
