Unexciting cards have a way of being the best cards in the set sometimes. I don't remember people making a lot of fuss over Voidcaller when Naxx was coming out, but that card singlehandedly made Demonlock a thing. Dr. Boom isn't very exciting on paper either, and many underestimated it, we all know what happened there. There's something to be said for a card that isn't flashy, but instead functional.

It seems a perfectly fine card indeed. Like a mini Blessing of Kings that cycles. Druid of the Claw + this = 7 mana super Leeroy.

As things currently stand: T1: significantly overcosted T2: appropriately costed T3: undercosted T4: you gonna die Minions living to even T3, much less T4, is rare.

I always welcome cards that encourage deck variety. Not every card needs to find its place in a tier 1 deck. If this (with some further help) makes beast druid somewhat viable I'm fine with it. Druid of the Fang is gonna get a boost as well IF BGH gets nerfed. I mean a 7/7 for 5 is pretty insane in the absence of BGH. Also with the (probably) incoming nerf of AoL Druid may need more card draw It wont be the new living roots though in the sense of underestimated cards before it sees play. It's too situational you need a minion out and that minion has to be a beast to make it good. A drake for the 6th slot would be great for sth like Dragon Priest. You probably also have some taunts out by the time this gets played to give it 1/2 turns to make it really good. At 8 health it is really hard to remove. Thing is there are cards like Cabal and Kodo. If this gets cabaled, you can concede right there. Maexxna at 2/8 did not see play at all, so I'm sceptical.

The druid card is interesting and i think it will see play if there is enough good beasts available. +2/+2 charge damage and draw a card has insane value for 2 mana. Edit: Druid of the Saber and Druid of the Flame transformations are beasts? OMG, Mark of Y'shaarj will be ridiculously strong if they are. Edit2: OMG they are! Blizzard is pushing new Beast Druid archetype for sure with Mark of Y'shaarj.

Of course, running that many 6 drops is tough for a Dragon Priest, but it does give that deck removal bait which it desperately needed to compete with slower decks.

Not sure how I feel about this, 8 hp is fairly high, but for 6 mana, just a big dumb guy that keeps getting bigger, I feel like it won't do all that much outside of maybe some niche dragon deck. ![]() The name and art are amazing...but start of the turn is really bad...

A long while ago I made a beast druid deck, it wasn't well thought out at all since I'm awful at deck building, I literally just threw a load of beast interaction cards together. It completely killed it. Druid of the Fang and Wildwalker are insane cards, Druid of the Flame gets great value on turn 3 and cat form gives it versatility on later turns. Who cares if BGH eats Druid of the Fang, it's a 5 mana card. You still have a second one in the deck along with any 7+ attack legendary of your choice. The only reason it's not mainstream is the same reason other druid decks aren't mainstream. Ramp druid with Force-Savage combo is just too good. Unfortunately I think it will still struggle even post combo-nerf since Druid of the Fang is rotating out. When I played Beast Druid that card was definitely the super star of the deck (with Wildwalker coming a very close second).
