Amongst the better cards, I had 1x Argent Protector 1x Equality 2x Aldor Peacekeeper 1x Blood Knight 1x Divine Favor 1x Harvest Golem 2x Shattered Sun Cleric 1x Cult Master 2x Consecration 2x Hammer of Wrath 1x Silver Hand Knight I'm quite happy about that run: I played conservatively and made good use of my cards. I think it's the first time I get to 12 wins with a Paladin without Truesilver Champion. | ||

I was hoping for 12-0 with this deck but ran into a couple aggro opponents, while I kept drawing bigger cards. Prizes were good; got 395g, 25 dust and 2 packs (no good cards though). | ||

I got frostbolt trip ice lance fireblasted for 16 damage on turn 7 which is exactly how much health I had, whilst sitting behind that 4/5 divine shield taunt. 300 gold, 1 pack. Not complaining. | ||

played 4 times arena so far, got 4 wins max :c here is what I just drafted for the fourth run (went 4-3): + Show Spoiler + Light's Justice Blessing of Might Equality Holy Light Argent Protector x2 Bloodfen Raptor Dire Wolf Alpha Arcane Golem Earthen Ring Farseer Imp Master Injured Blademaster Shattered Sun Cleric Silverback Patriarch x2 Truesilver Champion x2 Consecration Hammer of Wrath Cult Master Dark Iron Dwarf Dread Corsair Sen'jin Shieldmasta Spellbreaker Violet Teacher Silver Hand Knight Venture Co. Mercenary Argent Commander Reckless Rocketeer Stormwind Champion Without the single Stormwind Champion I would have probably gone 1-3 though. So far I am not convinced about Arena being a good place to make money in Hearthstone. When I get the option to pick 2/2 Taunt like 4 times and multiple murlock oracles and stuff while my opponents get Ragnaros, Yetis, Paladin Legendary and other cool stuff (and little to no bad cards) it just feels so hopeless  I used an arena card draw list this time, but when like two thirds of the deck are options between average, below average, bad and terrible cards I am not sure about the game at all :/ | ||

That's every arena i've played since January 5th. At first I could only afford an entry per day. But for example I've played 14 games between Jan 24th and 26th. All free from gold. Just stick to strong picks and strong plays and it'll work out in your favour in the long run, like poker. | ||

You just have to learn to play better, and make the most of the cards you are dealt. | ||

Sure, you're not a top tier elite player, but we can't all be elite players - you certainly shouldn't feel bad for getting ~5. I've said this before in this thread, but Trump - widely regarded as an excellent arena player - averages 7.3 wins in arena. Prior to learning this, I was disappointed that my average was below 7. Now I realise that a 7-win average, for a card game virgin, was stupidly ambitious. | ||

It has a theoretical lower bound of 2.4 (if nobody retires early) and a theoretical upper bound of 3.0. But it is definitely not 3.0 because people finish 12 wins with less than 3 losses. Basically, the number of wins must equal the number of losses across all players, and across all arena runs. So the average number of wins per run is necessarily identical to the average number of losses per run. Quite reassuring to see that actually, I too have started recording my arena wins and my graph looks very similar to your (although there is one shameful '0 win' that I'll never live down  ). My current average after 50 games is 4.5 wins. Overall, I'm happy with that. We'd all like to average 7 wins and 'go infinite' but for the time been I'm happy with just been more cost efficient then buying a pack for 100 gold (not to mention that arena is really fun). | ||

BGH did an insane job throughout this arena-run. he killed 1 rag, 1 illidan, 2 earth eles, 1 sea giant, 1 molten giant and 1 core hound! vaporize killed 3 yetis and a sunwalker from a priest with 4/10 stats and divine shield. | ||
