Mage begins to burn me down with fireballs ignoring my board, while I attack with my creatures. I get pyro'd on turn 10 and am at like 11-12 hp, I then break the ice block and wait next turn. Another secret (ice block duh!) gets played, then take 2 frostbolts and hero power damage so I'm at < 10 HP. Break the ice block again and wait. Get pyro'd and lose... Like seriously fuck off with this class. To play a deck running 2 pyros (I know they're not great anymore) and 2 ice blocks (a card I know will be remade or removed in the future) in UNRANKED CASUAL, like what the fuck are you trying to prove doing this shit against people like myself who don't even have 1/4 of a complete set of cards, other than e-peen'ing? Burn + ice block is such a stupid thing in this game in comparison to MtG... durr I can ignore the board while I just throw damage in yo face! I mean it's not like I've seen my opponents or other players Lava Axe me directly 4 times to win the game... OH wait that never happens because MtG doesn't allow for that stupid shit to easily happen | ||

I really think they should make a few simple changes to make decks like these less frustrating to play against. For example, minions should be able to use their silence on the player (you can freeze a warrior so why can't you silence a mage?). Adding some kind of Spell Taunt to a couple minions would work wonders, too. Right now the only class that can do either of these things (silence a player and ignore or redirect a spell) is, ironically, mages. | ||

Either I totally suck at Arena, or I've been getting terrible drafts. The first is more probable, even though... three druid runs lately, and I've seen Swipe ZERO times. No Starfall, either. I'm really frustrated now. I went 0/3, I had one Wrath for removal. How does it happen I get to choose between Wisp, Grimscale oracle and Raid Leader, when I match up against a mage who has (at least) three fireballs, two frostbolts, flamestrike, malygos and still opens up wyrm-coin-mirror image?? Just... ugh. When my max from the last five is four wins, I guess it's time to play some other game. | ||
