-4 games loss last night to a t2/3 priest double health double attack combo -13 losses to a 50/50 situation -4 1hp left losses -3 mirror losses due to worse starting hand(one of my warlock rush games I had a hand 4-5-6 which i shuffled in for 6-6-5)
i finally draft (what I think is) a nice shaman deck in arena. Run into a warlock that has all the strong warlock cards 2 bloodimps, 1 fire imp, 1 felguard in the first 13 or so cards he played, super strong neutral cards (knife juggler and two argent commanders in the first 13) and has insane luck with the the deal 2 damage, get a demon card (got the 6/6) and then, I am two damage short on a OTK with a windspeaker. such qq
edit: and the next game. I get my earth elemental out. He responds with faceless manipulator, naturalize, then proceeds to play illidan stormrage. That is after having played already 2 SSCs. gaaaaaa!
Sick of priests, mainly in unranked constructed since that is all I can play atm with mediocre cards. For those of you who believe priests are shit in constructed... absolutely! But that is the case in higher rank play (I watched Kripp last night and I don't think he queued against a priest once the whole night in ranked). In unranked play with all their basic cards it's just a matchup that pisses me off when I lose and even a win feels like a drawn out almost 20 minute game with the style I play. I try my best to counter all the warlock rush bullcrap recently with Druid and Paladin using control, AOE removal, taunts, and yes even the dead cards hungry crab, and low and behold I've ran into only one rush warlock in the last 2 days and a multitude of the same stupid priests that turn 1 noobshire cleric when my deck this time doesn't even have suitable 3/2 drops like faerie dragon
I can see why now so many people are making rush warlock decks, just to rush down these priests that use many stupid cards like turn 1 noobshire cleric, thoughtsteel, SW: P, PWS, etc
I feel like the unluckiest fucker ever in Arena. I lose to a topdeck right before I'm about to play have a crucial turn 99% of the time.
Out of the many Warlock runs first time I get a Jaraxxus. Turn 8, I'm at 2 hp with 3 minions on board and Jarax in hand. Rogue topdecks a Mad bomber, and it hits me. Mage topdecks fireball after fireball after fireball, seriously what the fuck. Turn 3 COIN Twilight Drake 4-8, fireball topdeck, turn 4 ANOTHER drake 4-8. Topdeck fireball etc etc. Might as well just join the darkside and play rush lock/mage in constructed as well.

Took 5 damage from minions, and then more than 30 in spell/hero power damage. The damage I took from minions wouldn't have even mattered. Dude played leper leper coin hero power>novice>fireball>frostbolt double icelane>blizzard>fireball>pyro. Couldn't even race that kind of draw.
Went 6-3 in arena few hours ago, all but 1 were mage. It's actually pretty ridiculous. Maybe the class will get reworked into something more than just "oh i got my fireballs/pyroblasts, and you cant kill me yet! gg"
Alot of Mages don't even bother with minions all they do is stall and shoot spell directly into your face.
Mages and OTK Warriors are kinda broken . Not neccesarly imbalanced but just bad design.
It just shouldn't be possible to complete neclect the board like that.
Yeah, all that stuff is really lame. Doesn't make for good gameplay at all. The OTK warrior is the worst, though. Totally uninteractive way to die.
I don't mind OTK warrior as much as I mind burn/freeze mages. At least with OTK warrior you know exactly what you're up against and have some agency; he can't drop molten giants unless he's below a certain hp, so all you need to do is find a way to take him from 14 hp to 0 in one turn, which is actually fairly doable.
Burn/freeze mages though whether or not you win is basically entirely dependent on what they draw. I've run aggro/burn mage decks and basically, except against classes like Druid and Paladin which have a lot of extra hp in the deck, whether I win or lose is dependent on what cards I draw and not much on what the opponent does. Pretty lame.

With over 1000 games played in constructed I can tell you now that there are much better opponents in unranked than ranked. Just don't bother with unranked while you are trying to get cards.
Also I wish blizzard would be more sensible about the ladder resets... I'm 2-54 and I'm still running into ex legends with pyros and legendaries (50 of those losses were intentional before you ask how I'm so bad)

Blizz said they dont use MMR for ranked MM until legend, so it is entirely possible to face legend players at ladder reset.

I was more thinking make legends start at rank 15 or something at ladder reset rather than 25. That way they aren't effecting the new player base / baddies / gold farmers

I definitely have not been playing constructed since the reset just cause it's a waste of my time (since i'm okay, but not good) until the good players are out of the poop leagues where I live

This entire post makes no sense. Ranked is less skilled then unranked!? You have 1000 constructed games but you lost 50 games on purpose and still go 2-4 after facing ex legendary players? This not only seems implausible, but if ranked is less skill then unranked why are you facing ex legendary players and why are you losing?

I never said less skilled. I said worse opponents. In ranked you can easily keep yourself at rank 20 and thus get wins / gold that way on these worse opponents rather than the sheer random skill level of opponents that are in unranked. The whole ladder reset is screwing that up.
I crafted Sylvanas as my first legendary. My last three legendaries I got in packs were Sylvanas, Sylvanas... and a golden Sylvanas. Somehow, I have the feeling I'm wasting my dust.
I dont get all the hate vs mages, when Druids are horribly broken in constructed. They literally have an answer to every single play, unless you are playing a greedier deck than they are. Its unfair that they have so much fucking removal and get through the entire early game without taking any face damage while you are just throwing minions away. Then they play a bunch of huge-ass minions + legendaries to which you have very few answers.
I play a variation of the curi's control warlock deck with a few minor modifications (-1 mortal coil, -1 king mukla, +1 power overwhelming, +1 void terror).
I guess it "feels" more "imbalanced" to lose to a mage deck (when they draw correctly about 50% of the time), rather than get slowly get choked to death by a druid.almost 70-80% of the time. Perception overrides actual reality I guess.
Pretty much losing the game right there and then after your opponent hits PERFECT PERFECT with his 2 arcane missiles on the first 3 turns. Game is good.

Its the same story with me and mad bombers. Opponent's mad bombers hit my blood imps like a baws. My mad bombers hit my own face like a scrub, completely ignoring the 1 hp minions on opponents board. Instead of paying to open card packs, I would like to pay for better RNG. Speaking of which, I have close to 100 packs opened with only 2 legendaries so far (got the murloc legendary through crafting the other murlocs). My friend spent no money on this game and he already has more legendaries than me with < 30 packs opened.
