Mana wyrm into coin mirror image has to be the most obnoxious opener in the game... I swear every mage always gets it too. Lose like 10 life just clearing that bullshit with non-aoe classes then boom fireball+pyroblast.

It's pretty annoying too but at least you can hit the cleric :/. 3/3 or 4/3 mana wyrm just bonks you while you throw out stuff to clear the images.

It's my nightmare!
I feel that against mages if you don't get at least a "good" opening you're pretty much dead. Because when you stabilize in the mid game it's already too late if you didn't do enough damage to him.
Against other classes, even if you didn't get a good start you can still win by securing mid/late game.

Eh I'm probably the worst player in the world, I've spent $50 and about 30-50 hours playing and am rank 19 with 1 win arena average. At least I don't rage at my losses anymore though.

but 1 win arena on average is indeed pretty bad. Try to watch some streams, trump and ek0p for example are pretty good at arena.

Coin-> defias I still feel is really fucking stupid in arena, especially when combined with a backstab to follow up. Almost impossible to clear it early on without taking stupid levels of damage with most arena drafts.

Fuck, i was about to beat a mage in arena, was feeling so good to about it, then my internet randomly dces me, not only i obviously lost the match, but my arena bugged and i cant do any arena now.

Run up against a hunter who coins out a turn 2 Alarm-o-bot.

I have 5 frostbolts in my deck, but none in my hand. No answer for alarm-o-bot.

Bot summons a Boulderfist Ogre. Well fuck. He replays Bot.

Have to deal with ogre somehow, cast Fireball and throw my Mana Wyrm into it. Okay.

His turn, Bot summons King Crush. Next turn, don't draw any of my frost bolts or polymorphs.

Concede on turn 5. Embarassing.

Opened some packs over the weekend.

First Legendary I opened was Millhouse Manastorm. :-\

Picked up Jaraxxus, The Beast and Tinkmaster Overspark as well. Not sure what I can do with these, had been hoping for something a bit more "generally useful" that I can throw in almost any deck like a Sylvanas.

I seem to have it a wall at rank 14ish. Every opponent I play has at least a Ragnaros, Sylvannas, Jaraxus, Alexstraza,etc. I watched a few streamers playing high ranks in hopes of seeing them play a deck that doesn't have a legendary or epic. Sadly none of them do. I guess I have to resort to arena and start grinding....

This game must be amazing if you can play for 8 hours and it only seems like 2. To say you can win 30 games in 2 hours is rather dumb. Even if you won 30 games in a row and they averaged 5 minutes a game that is 2 and 1/2 hours.
