Jaraxxus gets set at 1 HP to Repentance then has Alexstrasza used on him. Does he go to 15? I'd suspect not, but might as well be thorough.
if you mean wether or not alexstrasza can be used on Jaraxxus, yes, that is possible , he will go up to 15. I dont understand why the Repentance is important in this scenario?

Apparently Jaraxxus has a max health, unlike every other hero. You can't heal him above 15 hp. Repentance sets a minion's health to 1 hp, and so theoretically you shouldn't be able to heal Jaraxxus above 1 hp in that case.
Although for testing I wouldn't use Alexstrasza, since the card says "set health to 15", regardless of max health limitations. Though you could use a healing minion to test out the theory.

Healing definitely cannot set Jaraxxus above 15. Seems like nobody actually knows. Will have to test this at some point.

Happened to me a while ago
Is this not what you mean?
I think he sees Alexstrasza's effect as a 'healing' or 'damage' ability. Like if Repentance was used on a minion, you can't heal it back to its original health, it stays at 1hp no matter what. I guess he was wondering if Jaraxxus would be capped at 1hp.
While I don't know for sure, I would assume a Jaraxxus hit by Repentance would not be able to gain life via Earthenring Farseer, Siphon Soul, or any other healing, but Alexstrasza should still set his hp to 15.
alextrasya is not saying anything about healing or damaging or how many lhp you have had before or anything, it just says set to 15 and thats what it does. repentance or not

The "set to 15" effect registers as damage done/damage healed when you look at the move history.
Though that may just be a limitation of the history bar. When you discard your hand with Deathwing's battlecry, for example, the history of the card shows Deathwing as having "killed" those cards. Same with other "discard a card" effects, etc Soulfire, Succubus.

Alexstrasza’s ability no longer counts as a healing effect when raising the target’s health to 15 and will not affect Armor when lowering health to 15.
http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/blog/11868609 So yes there is definitely a possibility that it could be the case that it sets hp to 15. But truth to be told I find the chance that you survive to you turn again very low.
Alright I got a friend to try this with, and it turns out Alexstrasza does set Jaraxxus hp to 15 after Repentance.

Every hero has max health, aside from Jaraxxus they are all max at 30 and only able to go over with armor (which doesn't actually raise their health just their effective life total).

And if that's the case, why would you want to discard two of your cards, especially when there is no board context to tell which cards are best.
I'm rank 13 btw, so maybe this isn't something which happens at high levels.
If you play tracking at turn 1 it's already a really bad hand that you've got. In general you always want a Onedrop as Hunter, preferably the Leper Gnome.
Hunter Aggro has a straight forward plan with not very much variation in it: 1.) Onedrop 2.) Steady 3.) Bow! (Or 3 Drop) 4.) Trap & Steady 5.) Buzz Wolf UtH 6.) Steady, 2 drop, trap or 3 drop 1 drop 7.) Any finisher like Kill Command; Leeroy whatever.
If they play Tracking in 1 they are desperate, it normally fits much better into turn 4 if you dont have a 2drop, or turn 5 if you play a 3drop there.
