Pirate warrior and face shaman!
So far I think Renolocks, Dragon Priests, Druids with tons of taunts and Ferals Rages, Portals, and Reno Freeze mage are good.
after playing around with it a bit, reno mage (w/ kazakus) is really good against all the aggro decks. dirty rat is super fun.
when will the next card set(s) rotate out?
I don't have Kazakus, else I would try it. Even tho it's good vs agro decks, it's hard to play vs mid-range decks like golem druids where they can put bigger and bigger golems on board that you can't kill, since Frost Nova + Doomsayer combo is not very strong vs druid.
yes, and i don't even play Frost Nova in my Kazakus deck. The two hardest match ups so far are Dragon priest and Jade Druids. That being said: it's all a matter of what you meet on the ladder. The best deck seems to be renolock though. I personally don't buy the midrange shaman hype.

Next set rotates when the next expansion comes out(march/april likely) at which point BRM, LOE, and TGT will be leaving the meta should be interesting since it hits pretty much everything but pirates super hard.
Priests uses Entomb on Medivh, the Guardian Then plays it, next turn plays Entomb on some other mage minion, can Entomb + Atiesh summon Coldarra Drake?

Yes, Atiesh rolls random minions based on the cost you paid for the spell, and is not restricted by class.
Silly question maybe, but are daily quests linked to class level at all? Since i got my mage to level 60 I am getting far less mage quests and more for my other classes, or is this just down to rng which quests you get?

Quest rolls are somewhat random, though some are more common than others and will roll less frequently by design.
Additionally, I read somewhere that you can't get any of the last four quests you completed, regardless of when you completed them, though I have no links to prove this. If your last four quests were Mage ones, this could be why.

"Should I keep X vs. X to kill their X?" - always a valid question, but never a simple one...
Assuming you're playing RenoLock, I'd say you'll be more concerned with having answers to pirates tbh. It might be worth keeping if you already have Demonwrath, Doomsayer, Hellfire etc. but having a strong 4-drop is probably better.
On the flipside, would the Shaman keep his Hex to deal with your 8/8 or 4/10? Definitely not.

Doesn't blastcrystaling on 4 just lose you the game against shaman? Putting yourself 6 mana behind in a tempo game seems like a bad idea.
Maybe go for Shadow Bolt and some minions/aoe instead.

I'd have to see your decklist to see what you're trying to achieve, but I'd argue that it's not a viable card in any Shaman deck, even a control Shaman.
Even if you could find an excuse to run it though, I'd say it's never a keep.

Apparently, we don't have more tools to deal with pirates because Blizzard didn't expect Patches et al to be so prevalent. They mentioned in the designer insights live stream that they'll be continuing to watch it and will make changes if it continues to be so all-prevailing. You can watch the Q&A again below:
In terms of Taunts, I'm not sure I understand the question. Taunts do matter in that the opponent is, in theory at least, forced to make unfavourable trades.
If your questions is really "Why aren't taunts as overpowered as Pirates", see the answer above.

Or just play Dirty Rat
Taunts simply dont have enough health to be worthwhile. They are useless against a full board of buffed minions & weapons on turn 2. There should be a neutral 1 cost taunt with 5 health minimum and at least 2 attack. If they are going to give moron aggro multiple tools then why cant we have them?
Why do they need to keep watching? Are the blind? Are the stupid? Is there something they arent getting that Standard mode is a pile of steaming shit right now with 2-3 viable decks and thats IT? Two of them are brainless aggro and one is brainless renolock. How much longer will this persist? If they dont nerf the cheap pirates or weapons then give us some FAT taunts. Its not hard to figure this out....????

Just watched Thijs vs Sjow practice games and game 5 This Renolock vs Sjow Shaman, where Thijs did Blastcrystal Potion the 7/7, tho Shaman did use The Coin to play it on turn 3

Admittedly explained my thoughts rather poorly what I meant though is I wouldn't keep it on the mul, if your opponent plays the 7/7 in the early turns and you don't have any other option to remove it I think the correct play is to Blastcrystal it just feels like you're going to have a really hard time winning once you find yourself in that situation.
