I haven't encountered any bots myself, so I'm wondering: is this a real issue? Are these bots playing only on NA? Or only around rank 20? I'm on EU playing around rank 5-10, and around 20% of my opponents are shaman bots. So I would consider it a serious problem, yes. They're pretty easy to detect, too: They take exactly the same amount of time between each plays (even if they're obvious combos like killing one minion with two minions), they play in weird orders (playing an Earth Shock to kill a drake last, instead of first; attacking with Doomhammer, playing their turn, then attacking with Doomhammer again), and they get targeting arrows that are impossible to get (targeting their own hero power, targeting from your own minions, etc.).

How about undertakers? If I can't buff it next turn, should I save it till it's off range of a removal?

Does the order of play come into this or is there just a default resolution for "simultaneous death"?

I usually get on the more advanced side of the games I get into so my question is this: What is expected of me in terms of acquiring cards so I can get to the point where I only lose because I'm stupid and not because I have an inferior deck? Am I supposed to grind new cards, buy them? What's the general attitude among the good players? It is my understanding that the Naxxramas set can only be purchased with real money so I would have to buy that? And if so; what is to say that they won't just make a new expansion set and make you buy that one too? I'm not crazy about this pay to win aspect of the game. Is anything known about how often they are gonna make these sets?

Is anything known about how often they are gonna make these sets? Naxx should be purchase-able through gold @ the price of 700 per section, so 3.5k in total. That would take a very long time to accumulate for a new player unless you manage to get very good quickly and then play in the arena. To be honest though, that's rather unlikely given how long you've played. So if you don't mind spending 20/25$ w/e it is to unlock all of Naxx I would suggest doing so as not having Naxx puts you behind the current Meta pretty heavily. You can certainly still win without Naxx cards however almost every deck these days has some combination of Loatheb, Sludge Belcher, Undertaker, Zombie Chow, Dark Cultist, etc. They're just simply to good to not use. Regardless of how you go about unlocking Naxx you'll still need to beat each section to get the cards which will be challenging if you only have the basic cards.

(you don't need loatheb for Zoo) they don't need legendaries to play and are solid decks. also: search for the "hidden" quests like beating all AIs etc. they give a lot of gold. you also have to decide if you learn to Arena to obtain cards or if you spend your gold directly on packs.

![]() Is it possible for blizzard to play with my account and make someone do this that i always get bad packs alot and no epics or legendaries(very few). I have been very sad about the last 55 something packs i have opened and i have kept track of the good ones. I opened only 1 legendary in 55 smth or more packs . i have been counting since last 55 packs and this doesnot mean b4 it was a legendary. And last 13 packs only 1 epic. I am just feeling confused I was expecting atleast 2 epics in last 13 packs so far and in overall 55 i want atleast 2 legendaries to be close to averages of 1 epic / 5 pack and 1 legendary/20 packs .. but im at 1/3rd of that average for so long now :S

My Questions: I wanted to read more about Card Gaming Theory. Once there was an Article on this Page about Card Game theory and it was really interesting. I think it was about playing philosophy or something. And in recent days i saw that a guy build a deck while using a tactic from Magic. So i got interested in reading more about Deckbuilding etc etc. Also this Mana Curve thing..how it should be etc. Is there any page where i can read good stuff? Its also fine if its about magic or other games.

For your question, believe it or not but you can wikipedia some of the basic concepts: ie - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Card_advantage There are some more specific strategy articles floating around of course and I don't know if they're collected anywhere. But this is probably the most influential philosophy article from Magic: http://www.starcitygames.com/magic/fundamentals/3692_Whos_The_Beatdown.html You can easily apply this to HS (or almost any game really).
