I was watching Trump's stream the whole time, though. The commentator's were just not doing it for me. Here's Trump's POV if you want: http://www.twitch.tv/trumpsc/b/454434581 The curse stream asked him to remove his mic, cam and chat screen so they can restream it better. It's still fun to watch though ![]()

Can't wait to see the community come together with all the various streamers from different games as well as an influx of MTG pros as well.

If you know what cards both players have it's not fun anymore I'd think. What I did not like is that streamers showed their Decks prior to playing and in general it shouldn't be possible for players to get informations about the other guys deck from viewing the chat. It was god damn awful yesterday at Trump vs Kungen. Though only at that match it was pretty retarded.

Something as simple as having the coin not count as a card, spell, etc and simply allow for +1 mana for the duration of a single turn without any other benefits should fix the issues.

On top of that you shouldn't be able to mulligan your 4th card

I think if you gave first turn 4 cards and second player 3 cards plus coin it would work out. In most card games going second is the advantage since you can see already the plans of your opponent. Also going first you have 1 mana, not much can be done, usually a weak dude or nothing first turn anyways.

With the Diablo III beta (I received an invite during the second week of closed beta), there were many that wanted in but for a while, it was not truly chaotic. There were concerns for other things and weird conspiracy theories developing. But with hearthstone, it is like an entirely different beast. Smaller team, extremely fast production and people coming off as raging fanatics. I was one of the first to get into the beta and I was surprised but not overly excited. Thought it would be neat but man, the forums, they were a complete mess. For myself, this game was hallmarks of the old Blizzard. The team is small and we are getting a product they themselves enjoy. Along with the "fun" factor, there is of course the Blizzard polish. Tons still needs to be worked on but the game feels great (and even though I do not have a tablet, I am excited for tablet release). Not sure if anyone else feels the same way but I continuously am blown away by the sheer amount of enthusiasm for this game.

It was not that long ago the game was first revealed to us. It was met with mixed feelings but I did not imagine it would turn out the way it did. Luckily I have participated in nearly all main betas Blizzard has released and this has been pretty high up for the most hyped. TB remarked on the Co-optional Podcast panel at PAX that "apparently the beta keys are selling for $400 right now". That's pretty insane. ![]()

People on the b.net forums have been raging at Blizzard, calling them scammers and accusing them of various conspiracy theories. But man, $400.00, that could have gotten me a Playstation 4 lol. Lost opportunity haha.
