Lobster Chili
2 tbsp olive oil
2 small "chicken" lobsters
1 onion
4 stalks celery
1 carrot
1 bay leaf
2 cups great nothern beans
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp ground toasted cumin
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
salt
cracked pepper
Procedure
1. Dice half the onion, celery and carrot into large pieces, place in a 6 quart or larger saucepan or stock pot with the bay leaf, peppercorns and 3 quarts of water and bring to a boil.
2. Put lobster into pot and boil for 15 minutes, remove the lobsters, strain the broth and set aside.
3. Fine dice remaining onion, celery and carrot.
4. Heat the pan and olive oil over medium heat and saute the onion, celery and carrot until translucent, add garlic and saute a bit more.
5. Add water, chili powder, cumin and white beans and cook until beans are done, about 45 minutes.
6. Remove lobster from shell, rough chop and add to soup.
7. Finish with cream and cilantro and season with salt and pepper.

I'm not Korean. I have no Korean blood. I cannot speak Korean fluently. In fact I've only been in Korea for less than a year. So don't go apeshit if I use a ㅔ instead of ㅐ or I offend anyone's acute nationalistic feelings. Rest assured though that I will not teach anything without being 100% that it's right.
Note on Romanization:
(Romanization is where the Korean is phonetically translated into English)
I hate Romanization and I strongly suggest any serious learners of Korean not to use it. It's just for the newbies. The problem with it is that different English speakers will pronounce the syllables differently and on an international forum like this, it's impossible for me to be accurate with it. There are different variations of Romanization and below I do my own version.

So.. we learnt that in a restaurant, the Korean equivalent of 'Excuse me' is...:

여기요! (yeo-gi-yo!)
But this phrase is normally only used in a restaurant/bar/place of service. If you are in a street and want to ask a random person something, you can only say the above phrases if you are talking to someone significantly younger than you.
Instead, the formal polite phrase for 'Excuse me' is:
실례합니다 (shil-lyeh-ham-ni-da)
Try saying it quite quickly. The shil-lyeh will blend together a bit to sound like 'shille'.
Importantly, this phrase means 'excuse me' in the 'excuse me.. can i have you attention for a moment please'.
It does not mean excuse me as in 'i am sorry'.. and it also does not mean excuse me as in 'i need to get past, can you move please'. Both of those require different words.
