+ Show Spoiler [discussing this week's result] + I'm kinda glad Alyson got eliminated. She's the only eliminated contestant that never really got "fleshed out." Aside from the youtube vid of her belching tons, I didn't get much of a feel for her and didn't have any reason to care that she left. She was cute, sure, but it seemed like everytime she was on camera she was sticking out her chest/ass, fluffing her hair, biting her lips, etc. Maybe that's just her posture and/or she was nervous being on camera or something but that sorta stuff rubs me the wrong way. Next week I wanna see Chelsea eliminated. She stole her bed away from Swoozie (I think) with "wah wah, but I'm pretty! I should get what I want!" She seems to have Dante wrapped around her little finger... Plus, she fears iNcontroL's freight-train physique and tried to put him on the elimination block. That chick's gotta go! I wouldn't mind seeing Dante "the tortured gamer" get eliminated, either... except I wanna see him and Jamal get into it a bit more. Is Dante bi-polar or something? Anyway... Yay, iNcontroL is one week closer to $100,000! | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Alyson was super fucking cute, that is lame she had to lose. I dunno if it was editing or if it was truely how chelsea acted but that was super greasy of her. She did horrible in the RL challenge and she was like "PUT THAT BALLER INCONTROL UP FOR ELIM." I hope she loses very quickly. The only chick that I think stands a chance in the show is ciji now in my opinion, amy and chelsea seem really terrible. My hope is that the show doesn't become a complete sausage fest. Incontrol hwaiting! Edit, and Starslayer hwaiting too, you looked like a total badass in that car. | ||

We need your intellect and bad ass messages on here. :D wut? i still feel that there are a few of the posters here that could be on for season 2... and it is agreeable that it feels like these players that are sent up there aren't really performing well. if we look at a lot of them, they're FPS chicks => not good at console games. in general, we have PC gamers => console gaming. thus, people like robert have a natural advantage over the PC gamers. also, people like CIJI have a superior advantage over the other people on games that have a steep learning curve. Rockband, DDr, etc. In general, we basically have a few pros and a bunch of people who've never played these games compete with each other. That was really quite clear from the first battle, and in the last 2 it was clear as well. In fighting, they were basically button mashing using kagemaru power hits and not the throws and blocks. not to say i know anything about these games myself, but I feel like we're not getting a good "pros vs pros" but rather "pro at something else vs pro at something else", giving us a really shitty matchup making it seem like everyone could beat these "pros." obviously 99% of us aren't going to beat incontrol at SC (except superiorwolf), but we're prob. going to rock him at DDR. same situation coming on here... I was really sad for alyson to leave, cuz jamal was a jackass and weird, plus she was owning him but he plowed her out... *sigh* come on inc! take it down! i really want to see INC play DDR, but i fear he might be eliminated from that... | ||

That's the thing... it's Rock Band, you're all supposed to be competing to be the top "all-around" gamer, and at least 1/4 of you are "just learning" a game like Rock Band? Hell, even my mother knows how to play Rock Band. Speaking for myself, I've never devoted myself wholly to a game. You've said in clips that you spend 10-14 hours a day playing the same game. I'm sure the same is true for many of the other players who are the best at their game. If you're finding the ultimate all-around gamer, finding individual national champions seems like the most absolutely backwards way to pick contestants that I can imagine. The national champions have reached that status because they are the ones who IGNORE the majority of genres and focus on a specific game or two. Big names and good looking girls bring in an audience much better, though; that's clearly what this show is for. Someone who is above average in the games played so far would be breezing through, without any "national championships," or hell, even an appearance at a tournament. College kids who spend their nights playing various games until 6:45 AM (See post time) could dominate a gaming competition with Ultimate Gamer contestants simply by knowledge of a variety of games. Would we beat Swoozie in VF, you in Guitar Hero, or Dante in PGR? Not a chance, but we wouldn't be last, and that's all that counts. In all, I think most of us here are just frustrated with the format of the show and are taking it out on the contestants. It's not even going to be close to finding out the "ultimate all-around gamer." Dante just won 2 challenges by a landslide as far as I can see and look at the huge advantage he's gained going into Episode 4! ... oh wait, there isn't one. If anything, he's just painted a target on his back. The more I see, the more I think that people should take back what they said about how this show should be on G4. It deserves MTV, if anything. This is the same level as the CGS; I don't know what it will take for a producer to start realizing that most real gamers aren't the people to be suckered in by flashy effects and big stages. We want to see serious top level gaming competition and be awed by THAT, not by the environment it's in. (Admittedly though, the chicks do get us.) | ||

other than that, we don't really see any of them actually play. We basically see only drama, which is what this show is really all about. we're only watching cuz of inc. but yes, i definitely think a lot of us here would be able to take down this format tournament, or atleast place high. | ||

First time I tried to use it, the video wouldn't load. When I restarted Hotspot Shield, it did work. I suggest you try again  | ||

In the show they all appear to be little drama queens, but in most cases that isn't the case at all. They want you to keep on watching. It's all about the ratings! | ||
