Well, the New Year is approaching for most of us. For some, it's a day away, almost two for people like me.
Chinese New Year is in February, but whatever, I celebrate both.
So what is everyone doing? Formal party? Staying home? Playing SC? Getting completely trashed? Playing Designated Driver? >_<
Since we're all in different time zones, I thought this would be a thread where you can discuss your plans, and when the New Year comes in your time zone, you can inform us all.
Happy New Year (when it comes) everyone! I'm attending a potluck, so I get to prep beer chicken and shove beer cans up some poor bird's ass. (New year in about 38 hours for me)

Going to drive to the sea with 5 friends for two days. Having a small (for 4 people) appartment there, gonna hang out, drink, get high, have fun there!

i planned to go on a private party but became ill yesterday, so ill just sit on the balcony from 23:30 on or something and drink some mead from my horn to celebrate while watching firework going off all over the city! happy viking new year

I'm really hoping someone gets back to me on a party. I have like five or six potential places to go, so one of them has to come through, I think. If all else fails I do have a "Plan B" so to speak, which I will go to, but that's if there are no real parties going on.

Get incredibly stoned with my friend dangerous dave, then walk out from my place and go to this castle which is in the center of my city, watch fireworks and probably be incredibly intrigued by their colours considering this is a pretty trippy strain of marijuana.
Then we will eat chinese food, at best i might possibly get laid if i play my cards right with this girl i know.
at worst dave gets paranoid and insists on staying indoors because of some stupid bullshit he comes up with, it has happend before.

now its 1.49am. god new year in mel really sucked this year. the weather is like 40 degrees and all the hos are wearing those slutty one-peices. the firework was like a blowjob that didn't cum. the tv only covered sydney's celebrations.
2008 is my Chinese zodiac year and tradtions dedicates that i wear red undies for the whole year or suffer!
on the plus side, an azn dude just beat the shit out of some aussie guy in middle of swanston street lol. that was good i guess
