Well, the New Year is approaching for most of us. For some, it's a day away, almost two for people like me.
Chinese New Year is in February, but whatever, I celebrate both.
So what is everyone doing? Formal party? Staying home? Playing SC? Getting completely trashed? Playing Designated Driver? >_<
Since we're all in different time zones, I thought this would be a thread where you can discuss your plans, and when the New Year comes in your time zone, you can inform us all.
Happy New Year (when it comes) everyone! I'm attending a potluck, so I get to prep beer chicken and shove beer cans up some poor bird's ass. (New year in about 38 hours for me)

30h to go for me.. Going to drive to the sea with 5 friends for two days. Having a small (for 4 people) appartment there, gonna hang out, drink, get high, have fun there!
|
Having a poolparty (it's going to be 43 degrees celsius) with plenty of booze
|
Just gonna stay home and spend time with family
*It's the Final Countdown! Doo doo doo doo"

Heading over to Artosis's place, his mothers setting up some neat activities for us, last year we did pin the tail on the donkey, and who can drink the most apple juice.
|
Will probably be asleep seeing as how I have work through new years, might blow something up who knows.

I don't have plans yes.
I may go to a nice party, but there's one of my ex gf attending there with her boyfriend... god dammit!

staying home most likely, got family over so we'll prolly have little family time with board games and stuff waiting for 12

Partying with friends but I don't want it to get too crazy, at least for me cause I still want to go skiing the next day. And of course, playing SC until my brains hurt.
|
Going to a party with some friends.. Gonna make some nice food and drink som beer and Asti Cinzano before we fire some rockets and go to sleep in the bushes.. New Years as it should be in other words..
|
13h30 to go here. Going to a friends place where we will all hook up, make some nice food, have fun, have the countdown, give some presents and celebrate the new year. And then we go out to a big party for the rest of the night. I am one of the drivers though, pitty.

i planned to go on a private party but became ill yesterday, so ill just sit on the balcony from 23:30 on or something and drink some mead from my horn to celebrate while watching firework going off all over the city! happy viking new year

New Years in less than 45 mins for me. Doing nothing special, just surfing random sites and stuff and thinking about the year ahead.
|
fuck new years i always end the night in total disappointment so fuck it

I'm really hoping someone gets back to me on a party. I have like five or six potential places to go, so one of them has to come through, I think. If all else fails I do have a "Plan B" so to speak, which I will go to, but that's if there are no real parties going on.

2 hours and 10 mins to go. nothing planned. i got way too drunk the nights before so i'm just gonna sit by the river and watch the fireworks.
