The fact that the new england states and the midwestern ones all count as one florida or texas is absurd. That a shift in politics by 5 percent of total count does not change the senate floor at all is ridiculous. We kind of have the same system with the Bundesrat, though (~second chamber with governors for Americans).

Sure, Brown not leaning more towards Trump is definitely a positive sign, but I don't think it's done by any stretch of the imagination.

It seems like it's mostly Kenosha that isn't done reporting, but it may not be enough to close the gap for Trump, especially if it's mostly mail-in votes left.

Aka not Biden or Clinton. I'm sure they'll learn this lesson this time. For sure.

The doom-and-gloom projections for Biden were a bit premature. With mail-in ballots being all that's left in WI/MI/PA, Biden looks like he has a pretty good chance to sweep there. Even if he doesn't take PA, he has a good lifeline in GA, and still has a chance in NC . As Farv said though, this is most certainly going to go to the Supreme Court. This is the kind of thing that could lead to protests and riots if they start throwing out ballots and it makes a meaningful difference in the election.

Yeah he'll find something to hang his lawsuit hat on, but if its the legitimacy of mail-in ballots or something like that, SCOTUS will rule against Trump, especially because of what doing so sets them up for in the future. It's the perfect chance for them to clean the slate before ruling on the stuff they care about.

Even a Donald Trump won't sway a Republican from voting Republican, Democrats should focus on candidates that are popular, do popular things, and that people actively like. Aka not Biden or Clinton. I'm sure they'll learn this lesson this time. For sure. Insofar as I understand things, Biden is well liked. Probably more well-liked than Bernie Sanders. And yes, my own personal political opinion is way more in line with Bernie Sanders than Joe Biden. Biden would be right in the middle of the VVD in the Netherlands, and I have never and will never vote VVD.

Well, the court can't punt it to the house. At least not in the way you appear to think. Unless you think the court is going to engineer a split electoral college? Also, you missed the step where Biden does in fact eventually win, by a very thin margin, but faithless electors cause a tie, and *then* it's punted to the house who install Trump.
