How do you know if they wouldnt vote for Trump if they had to choose? If you look at her platform she is a libertarian pretty far from Trump. I dont think all her voters would have been for Biden and I would guess a lot of them would have stayed home but liberals throwing their vote for 3rd party candidates has to impact the dems more than the republicans. That's what happened as well in 2000 with Ralf Nader.

All of PA, WI, and MI still look quite good for Trump. Not that many votes left to count at this point, so what's left would have to be quite lopsided to turn them to Biden.

Fulton got some more votes in. Biden narrowed the gap to 2.2% or 102k votes. He's getting there.

Ok the betting odds in Georgia are coming back into contact it was getting kinda nutty there for a minute. It's closer now.

2020 really is the gift that keeps on giving. Every other state can reliably count the votes in an effective window of time. It really boggles the mind how awful these states are. There should be no universe where it takes a week to count the votes. It's going to be really close in AZ, GA, PA, and WI (also think NV will be quite close too, but more Biden favored).

GOP keeps Senate unless I'm missing something unfortunate

When will the final results be available? I feel for some of my countrymen who stayed up all night to watch this unfold live, why bother since even in the morning the results are unclear

Maine is going to ranked choice
NC is still close
We have GA special in jan
IF they can win 2 of those they can get a tie
looking unlikely though

I guess we should have a pretty clear picture before that though.

Bleargh. Best case Szenario here is Biden winning with all votes, aching over the finish line in the rust belt. Then, a few terroristic incidents and after that, slow normalizing. Worst case Szenario is Biden wins and trump accelerates it all into civil war 2: militia vs drones (how do you like your ar-15s now? ). The year that keeps giving...

Gonna be a sleepless night. Hope for better news in the morning...

Let's assume the 110k offset. That gives us 220k to overcome a 110k margin. That means we need a split of 160k 50k for a Biden win or 76%. It's not impossible.

I'm probably gonna head to bed soon. Hope to wake up to some good news from Wisconsin and Georgia but not that hopeful.
I will leave with one last small positive note: Michigan has had some weird counties flip back and forth: Biden flipped Isabella, Antrum, Leelanau. Trump flipped Muskego, Genesee, and Kalamazoo. So things are still heated. It will come down to an expected 300k+ win in Detroit that Clinton had in 2016. But we'll see what happens with that 57% remaining vote.

A strong rebuke of the last four years reflected in votes cast was the only thing that could have shown any sort of redemption for America. What an utterly hopeless display. That people would continue to support and be taken in by Trumps populism for so long, there is really just no excuse. Hopeless.
