Well if WCG was in Bulgaria boxer was going to have the worst possible maps against his strongest opponents and maps for the top 16 tourney were going to be adjusted according to the most probable opponents of Didi/Beast/Bykli until the final hahaha

How did they draw the maps for groups/top 16?

Boxer beat Yellow two times so just give him his props and end it. As for the map i hear everyone saying they should pick new maps but I dont see to many of you saying what maps they should uses next year(If there is BW at next years WCG anyway GO VOTE!!!). So go head people tell me What maps you put to replaces what they got now. I personal would only remove JS cuss i think its hard for toss in a TvP. Im not sure what map would replace it mayb biforst be nice(i love that map).HoV is about as blanced a islands map there is i think. I mean name one more blanced? Btw i have to beleave LT is one of the most blanced maps ever made. Seems like any race can win at any time on that map(i think u LT hates say it to make yourself look gosu lol). Then again wtf do i know im newb

I would swap lost temple for plains to hill as lost temple is just the same as legacy of char only without balanced start points (re. above). I would also be tempted to swap jungle story for gaema gowun/blade storm (tough choice) as I prefer to play protoss vs zerg on gaema gowun/blade storm than jungle story and zerg still have legacy of char to own on vs halls of valhalla for protoss to own on. Terran can play on any map which isn't completely flat so I'm not bothering to mention terran

There is no such thing "LT hates". You have to be kinda crazy to actualy hate a map. The thing is that LT is not a good competition map because there is too much luck factor involved and I am talking about the starting positions. LT is a broken map. It's not about likeing it or not.

kinda ironic that before that match, yellow said in an interview that his week point in a game is econ control, and when people hit his econ he loses. Then first thing boxer does is rape ihs econ. Roflz

What many gamers have overlooked is the ability for someone to adapt to a map, situation, ect. Although Yellow is an excellent z user he made a mistake, and with that happening boxer took it to his advantage.

PARTLY joking? You better be 100% joking, cuz that's bullshit. All this shit in the beginging after the bulgarians winning a couple matches about them being the shit and koreans looking "vulnerable". Look at the results, no bulgarians even advanced out of the first round and the koreans ended up 1-2 even though they faced each other in the 1st round of double elimination. I somehow knew there would be all these bullshit excuses. The maps were pre-selected for god sake. Lets just face the facts, the world is still a bit behind korea (we're catching up though) and lets stop being haters and recognize. Doesn't matter where the WCG was held, koreans > bulgarians.

I'd like to know how many people accessed the WCG site for SC/BW information in comparision to the other games. It'd also be interesting to see how much traffic WCG had when it was a SC/BW match being broadcast as opposed to the other games.

My guess is that SC/BW got a lot more attention than any other game this year, and so it should be obvious to WCG that it shouldn't be taken out for next year. It'd be a ridiculous prospect.

I might be biased, but I don't think Starcraft should be ever taken out. Its timeless. Sure the graphics are probably a bit dated, but eh, gameplay is the still the best ever.

tenbagger didn't Froz beat the winner of the wcg 2:0? Why do people like you always think that a way a tourney unfolds is the only possible way it could have gone, and the winner would have won no matter what. That's absolutely stupid. There were so many possibilities and luck played a big role as ever, even if the most probable winner won.

The maps/group draws had a huge role in both wcg's so far, even if the maps were all balanced we still have the groups: Two insane groups this year (B and D). I think if Junwi and Oddysay were in those groups instead of Boxer, half the koreans might have been out before top 16 just like last year. Two of the Bulgarians were in those groups and lost in playoffs, not to mention Bykli who isn't even top 10 in Bulgaria and wasn't supposed to be there, almost won group F and beat Oddysay too

A lot of nations have pretty strong teams and Bulgaria is one of them, nothing wrong about me cheering for them. It's not like I tell they own someone, they just could have gone far with some better luck. You're the hater for telling me I shouldn't support them, not me.
