- Crypt of the Necrodancer

RNGesus so important for Pokemon runs.

Never. Game is too long for it to be accepted. Eventually MMBN1 will get accepted and it has a lot of similarities to GS1 in terms of strategies (i.e. heavy RNG manipulation)

I love watching high level mega man play, such unforgiving games. I'm so terribly inept compared to these guys lol

So they start this Banjo run with a few moves already learned because of a bug. Feels kinda like cheating tbh which is a shame.

Just started watching the VOD... Honestly, I'm okay with it because I've been following the BK speedrunning scene for a while and it's always refreshing to see them finding new glitches and strategies that end up revolutionizing the run (like Reverse Bee Adventure mode, this all-move skip, etc.), or else this speedrun would be the same every year at AGDQ.

Great commentary/ narration while stiv does his thing, btw.

Agreed. I also enjoyed it. I can see though why someone might dislike the way it's run now

Considering how flawless stiv usually is, I was a little surprised about a few silly mistakes he made during the run, especially since he's been practicing. (I'm not particularly surprised at him messing up that Freezeezy glitch though, considering how difficult it really is.) He was getting upset with himself too.

Haha well SM64 was earlier in the week with both a great 3-way race and then a hilarious multiplayer mod, if you haven't seen them yet

Ah ofc I've seen it I meant it more like: if SM64 would be in the series of games coming up now it would be the best possible order of games for me
