Get a double room. Think about it this way - If you have a shitty room mate, it forces you to meet more people. Remember, you're getting the worst stories here. I had a shitty freshman room mate (pathological liar douche), so I just spent most of my time elsewhere.

Heh. I've sort of been this kind of roommate before. : x It wasn't my room though, but my girlfriends. We don't like "preplanned" sex or anything and she's not a sexually shy person at all. So, we'd have two/three times a day, and usually in her dorm room. We've annoyed her roommates (over the past few years) so much that one just moved out into another room for a month. XD

Despite some bad experiences, all in all I enjoy living with people a lot. You just have to be a bit careful about who you choose, I guess. I've had some pretty damn awesome flatmates to weigh up for the bad ones. I shared a house with three girls for a while, we went on Sunday drives with picnic baskets and just had a blast. No sex, unfortunately, but, as some of you might slowly start to realize, life isn't all about sex.

well my rm is pretty cool guy, we basically are the same shit, we like the same kind of music, work out like crazy, sociable, we joined a frat, we are into sports, responsible with grades...it is really nice and we have these nice conversations before going to bed...
but i am glad i got this rm cause ive seen the weirdest guys ever since i am in college
p.s the funniest experience was that I got back to my dorm with this girl...and I passed out on my bed, when I woke up...I saw her in my rm's bed naked...guess what happened
