Although this thread does not function under the same strict guidelines as the USPMT, it is still a general practice on TL to provide a source with an explanation on why it is relevant and what purpose it adds to the discussion. Failure to do so will result in a mod action. |

Okay then, if we're sharing

Some of the questions, especially in constructivism vs essentialism and revolution vs reformism, are poorly phrased

nothing too surprising. Except that all the ecology questions were basically "would you want to slow growth to protect the environment?" which was a little lame

LOL, you literally got Vichy's motto

The "progressism"/conservatism and internationalism/nationalism questions should be fixed, I think it's almost impossible to get a >80% result as a conservative or a nationalist while there is probably a huge gap between people who are ~70% progressive/internationalist and those at 80% or more.

Yeah, I think so too.

I suspected TL has too many socialists in this thread, but now that's confirmed. :D Unfortunately, there's no political balance in discussions then. Or, at least the loud ones are more active.

Almost every European is going to be a socialist by default when your looking from a US standpoint. The results are hardly a surprise when you see its (almost) all EU people posting.

No, I mean even EU right-wing view in this thread is rare. I don't even compare opinions here to US ones. I won't pick specific names here, but some posters are very loud and aggressive when they have to state their opinion.

Or, at least the loud ones are more active. Answers critical of capitalism score you a lot of communism points despite not necessarily being pro communism. I prefer capitalism with heavy intervention in terms of worker rights, wealth distribution, public utilities, social services, market monopolies and so on, rather than just nationalizing everything which is what my result in this quiz would suggest.

You only have 14% on the laisze-faire score yourself, so you are just a socialist that doesn't believe in what we popularily call socialist goals. You just want to dictate the world differently. (according to the test results that is, which I really think we should not take too seriously)
