Heroes of the Storm new heroes, features, maps. Hearthstone new expansions. Legacy of the Void confirmed. New IP, Overwatch. Kinda wanted a bit more, but still worth waking up for!

The setting is the same, the game director is the same: So what was Titan? For starters, according to three people I spoke with, it would have taken place on a near-future version of Earth, in a science-fiction depiction of the world where mankind has successfully fought off an alien invasion. Players would join one of three factions waging a cold war over control of the planet, and zones planned for the game ranged from the west coast of the United States to Europe, South America, and Australia, according to a source. Blizzard's plan was to make the game world huge, and to keep adding areas with expansions in the years after launch. As you noted, they just removed all the MMO elements and kept the PvP.

You can log into battle net and click beta profile settings and click "future betas" and tick that button and you will get into the beta. Well the chance too I dont think they have added a specific beta profile for it yet. so just make sure you have "future betas" selected.

I believe that on release WoL cost €60, with Hots at €40, basically the €100 I spent on the game will go to waste since once Lotv comes out no one will play Hots? Since it's a standalone game it might even cost the full price of €60 instead of the price of an expansion? I don't know how I feel about this.

Next to that you can get ridiculously good games for next to nothing if you look out for sales. €100 for WoL / Hots €5 for Witcher 2 less than €4 for skyrim €10 for il-2 cliffs of dover lol / dota 2 / HS - €0 blizzard is selling its brand more than the actual product. if any gaming company released an rts of the quality of sc2 it would not sell as well. no, i'm not a big fan of blizzard. i respect them as a company but i'm not a blind fanboi, so if their stuff is overpriced i'm going to say it. but i'll be forced to buy it since it's one of the 2 or 3 rts games that has an active community behind it.

That's kind of steep given that's essentially the price of laddering (since you get almost everything else for free). As I said as well, Lotv being standalone means it'll probably be more expensive than an expansion, which is basically milking the people who already bought the first two titles. Yeah great logic. €5 for Witcher 2 when it released sound about right.

well, i wouldn't even mind since you get a lot of re playability in those kinds of games. i would say the same thing for wol / hots, except that i'll literally never play those games ever again since the multiplayer will transfer entirely to lotv. if the witcher 2 sucked i simply would not have bought it because there are other good single player games out there. sc2 has that semi-monopoly in the rts scene. so yeah, i think it sucks to have €100 go down the drain. unfortunately i am not a blind blizzard fan boi. i respect the games they have made and i respect them as a company but they are not a perfect company nor do they make that are particularly fun compared to what i played as a kid.

If they're smart, and Blizzard is or they wouldn't be where they are, they will have a heavily discounted price for those of us that have already bought WoL/HotS. Anyway, I'm sure someone will ask this question at a panel. We'll get clarification soon.

I imagine that they'll greatly reduce the price of the first two SC2 parts, because it will essentially be only the single player campaigns going forward.
